"Out of the way suprise."
Hotel is situated in a very lovley setting on the side of a big hill over looking the Meditranian sea on one side and a quaint beutiful fishing villiage on the other side on a lagoon you can walk. Breath taking views. The hotel is owned and run by the family for many decades. Grandmom, is still involved in overseeing the operation. The staff and family members speak english enough for us to get our thoughts over. We had a 3 day stay, enjoyed meals and a glass of wine in the evenings overlooking the views. It is close enough to the airport 30 min drive. European style building with a spanish flair, orginally a house, expanded into a hotel. Large meeting /dining rooms an outside teike bar and seats to watch the sunset. Authentic southern Italian buildings not a Holiday inn. We loved it.

"A Super Sicilian Stay"
We had a lovely trip. The staff (especially Petrio) could not have done more for us. It is a beautiful area and there's some super little restuarants to try.

"Good money value"
Clean hotel; nice staff; nice swimming pool, but closed after 18:00; can buy breakfast for 3 euro pp; waitress in hotel restaurant don't speak English and menu is only in Italian; location not great but bus transport available; for the beach we needed to go about 2 km; quite noisy at night (our room was in front of the hotel, above the restaurant and we were with child ). I would recommend this hotel. We rented a car by the airport from sicilybycar, just to let you know - they wanted £1.500 deposit

"Gorgeous hotel next to the beach"
From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made welcome and all our needs were attended to. The staff were all polite, friendly and accommodating, despite our inability to speak Italian! We arrived before check in time, but were allowed to leave our suitcases at the hotel whilst we explored the local area. When we came back our bags had already been taken to our room for us and everything went smoothly. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We were provided with more than enough space for hanging and putting away clothes, a lovely bathroom with a powerful shower and a delightfully comfortable bed. We slept well every night as the room was cool and the area was very quiet and peaceful. We ate in the hotel restaurant two of the nights that we stayed, and were impressed with the level of service and quality of food. The hotel overall had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and I would recommend it highly for anyone who wants to escape reality in beautiful Sicily.

"Great place to stay with a big family"
We stayed for 15 nights in two apartments joined together which was great for a big family of 7. One of the apartments has got a lovely sea view terrace and we were sitting all together there most of the evenings. Anothother apartment was used mostly as a sleeping room for our parents. The Sea-Veiw apartment faces the town square with many restaurants and small shops, in the evenings they become very busy and at some point a bit noisy, but it never lasts later than midnight, so for us it was a great opportunity to watch local life and we didn't mind it at all. There are many shops around selling fresh fish, meat and vegetables and everything you would need for cooking in the apartment, so one of the main advantages was the kitchen facilities. The owner Vincenzo is a helpful and attentive guy but he is very busy too. On the day of our arrival we had to wait for about 20 minutes on the street next to the door with kids and all the suitcases unless he let us in. Even though we had read a review about this happened previousely, indeed it was quite unpleasant to experience after a few hours of travelling... Also soon after our arrival the internet was cut off for a few days, not a very big deal, just be ready that due to local lifestyle\attitude it takes some time to have such things fixed. General impession about the apartment is very good, soon you forget about those little inconviniences and I can say we had a fantastic holiday in Sicily at a very reasonable price.

"Truly magnificent venue"
A terrific experience. The hotel was outstanding, situated in lovely grounds where we enjoyed walking amongst the lemon trees. The room large, comfortable and clean was right beside the large swimmong pool which we mostly had to ourselves. The hotel is rural but close enough to bars and cafes that we could walk out for something to eat if not using the hotel restaurant which itself was great with lovely food. The staff really could not do enough for us. We do not drive, which meant more effort to get out and do things but with 2 train stations within what I would class as walkable distance we took the regular, low cost trains wherever we wanted to visit. (towns along the coast) Our one mistake was viviting Palermo whose markets had been reccomended to us. Palermo has become a squatter town for refugees and was dirty and over crowded; give it a miss. Travelling in the other direction though we found hot springs, nice beaches, a diving centre and friendly locals all keen to interact with us. Would go again.
