We arrived late, but still, knowing that we were headed for the spa, Sandy (the owner) stayed around to light (and then I suppose un-light) the candles surrounding the spa. In the morning, I spent several lovely hours sitting by the pool, gazing a Mt. San Jacinto, talking to Sandy, with an occasional dip in the warm pool waters. My mother and I would have been content to spend the entire day there.
The owners (Sandy and Shah) are in the process of updating the rooms. Shah showed me two of them; both very clean, sleek and modern, but still unpretentious.

A very pleasant stay. Nice big rooms, comfortable bed, couches and chair for T.V. watching. Even though they listed a free dinner as well as breakfast, I was surprised that they did serve a a dinner on the Monday night that we were there.
We had dinner arrangements at a restaurant, so we didn't avail ourselves of it, also had free beer and wine with the dinner.

I love this place so much that I don't even want to tell you about it. I want to keep it to myself! The hotel is situated on lovely grounds. The rooms are quaint and ours was spacious with a kitchenette and private bath. We loved that we could walk to downtown Palm Springs and to Le Vallauris restaurant which is expensive, but may be some of the best food you've ever eaten. We had a great experience here. There was a wedding going on in a separate part and they ended it early, but if you are looking for a completely quiet place, you should inquire about events.

This is an older building but the room (a mini apartment) was very nice and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch just talking and watching the birds.
