High Pointe was a very well kept, high end resort directly on the pristine beaches of FL's panhandle. The pool / hot tub area was beautiful and our condo was clean, well stocked (kitchen cooking items) and nicely decorated. I would say the largest selling points would be: (1) Direct Beach access, (2) very nice pool area & (3) Access to the biking / jogging path along 30-A. However, a convenience that we did not have was access to a fitness facility, either on site or within a short driving distance. I did miss this but made up for it by utilizing the jogging path more. I thought that the price was also a good value for the amenities that we received.

This is a great place to stay. The best part is that it is virtually right on the beach. Every time we walked out on the balcony we were greated by the most beautiful view. The people of Panama City Beach are beautiful also. A great place to stay in deed.

Loved the room, views were wonderful and the staff was fabulous. There was a little work being done to the outside of the hotel, but over all it was very nice. Only down side was there was a pool drain right below our balcony that made a lot of noise and we had a lot of trouble getting cell phone service inside the room. But it was a very enjoyable experience and we would return.

We had a great stay. The only hitch was out check in--the office closes at 5:00--and we got there tired at 9ish. Was difficult to figure out the check in. Otherwise we loved our room. We were on the 22nd floor--oceanfront. We could hear the ocean, and the views were spectacular. The room was amazing--clean, very well appointed and extremely comfortable. There was nothing we could want. The pool was heated to about 90 degrees and the beach was clean and inviting. The gym was clean and well equipped. The resort was large--but besides the pools and gym offered nothing---no snack shop, bar, gift shop etc, and as noted above, the office was only open 9-5.
The only negative beside the check in was that our rental car got hit in the lot our first day there. Although there were cameras--they didn't catch the incident, and while the staff was sympathetic, they really didn't help much or follow up with us.
