I was satisfied for the price. Stayed by myself in a double-occupancy room on the fourth floor. Room came with an LCD tv with several channels (only in French), basic desk and chair, and a bathroom with a bathtub/shower head attachment. It was clean.
The young people I met at the front desk were friendly and spoke fairly good English. The free wifi does not work very well at all on the fourth floor, however it works well in the lobby. My laptop wouldn't connect to the network until the guy at the front desk restarted it. After that, it was fine. There's also a public PC there if you don't have a laptop.
Breakfast is okay (and convenient) but overpriced.
The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the Villiers metro station (M2/M3). It's a fairly pleasant walk as there are a decent number of cafés and stores on the way. Montmarte and the Arc de Triomphe are a few stops away from that Métro station.
For staying in the city on three-score and five per evening, I was pretty satisfied.

"Excellent rooms, location and service + good value"
We have been coming here for a decade because the location is convenient to the Bastille transport hub but it is quiet, especially rear facing rooms and near the wonder Blvd Lenoir market. Having the kitchenette means we can sample food from the market and make our own breakfasts just as we want them.Despite being a chain hotel we are welcomed by staff who remember us and Erwan was particularly helpful and friendly: we arrive just before check in time with a meal - he was happy for us to eat it in the breakfast area and provided cutlery.
Rooms are generously large for Paris and well maintained.

I knew Parisian hotels were small but was surprised that the room was larger than expected. There was no decor on the walls but that was ok. Being we were there for only 3days we didn't need to unpack so I can't write about closet or drawer space. The modern bathroom was larger than mine back home!
The front desk staff spoke enough English to help us while the other staff had limited knowledge, but nonetheless we were able to get what we needed. We were given the name of several local restaurants that looked good as well as excellent directions to the many places to see.
Overall, the hotel, while a typical European hotel, was a nice place to stay. The continental breakfast was exactly what we expected and substantial enough to get us going in the morning, The hotel itself was comfortable and nicely appointed. The lobby was inviting where one can read the free daily newspapers.

Excellent Location - 5 minutes walk from both the Palace of Versaille and also the RER station for a 30 minute trip into central paris. You cannot do justice to the palace and gardens in one day, so book a night here :)
Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Breakfast is good for a budget hotel. Very limited parking - I believe you can book it in advance, the directed me to an underground public car park nearby that was just a few euros more per day.
