"Beautiful hotel with a good pool and great views"
The receptionist was very efficient and spoke excellent English. The hotel itself was easy to find and located a few km out of Norcia in a very quiet village. The nearest restaurants are in Norcia, so you need a car.
The room had fantastic views over the lake, furnishings were adequate.
I managed to leave my passport in my room and only realised after a days drive around the national park at another hotel the next evening. The staff at the Hermitage went above and beyond, dropping off my passport at a meet point halfway for me to pick up - can't thank them enough.

After spending time in places filled with tourists and extreme shopping, it was a relief to find this lovely Bed and Breakfast hidden away in the Umbrian hills. The grounds are spectacular and I loved hearing the rooster crowing in the morning. At night, the Umbrian sky was filled with stars and I watched a lone firefly flit among the bushes. It was so relaxing to sit pool side, enjoying an evening glass of wine or the morning breakfast. I arrived on a Sunday and was served dinner in the garden. What a faulous experience! I do not speak Italian so was uncertain as to what I would be getting to eat but the courses just appeared and included an appetizer, an antipasta plate, pasta and the perfect dessert. The service was as wonderful as the food. The owner of the hotel is a great host and made me feel at home. He was also very helpful in suggesting places that I could visit.

Great B&B in Bevagna! First of all Bevagna is well located in Umbria. Bevagna itself is a great little Umbrian town worth the time to investigate and have a meal or two. Only a short drive to Montefalco (15 min), Assissi (didn't go) and a host of other towns in Umbria. I also selected it because it was very close to Foligno (15 min) and high speed rail connections which we used to go back to Roma.
Our principal interest in exploring Umbria was to connect with the wineries, restaurants and local markets -- sort of a culinary vacation. Michele is a fantastic B&B host with plenty of recommendations on places to visit in the area. Some of Umbria's and Montefalco's best wineries are within 10-20 minutes drive of the B&B.
Our room had a small seating area, dining, kitchen closet with doors (counter, sink, refrigerator, Nespresso machine), bedroom, bath, A/C. Property has a pleasant little pool for relaxing after a day of exploring (ran into a mosquito issue after the breeze died down and went back inside). Property has good parking and has a security gate - although this appear to be overkill and not needed - the town seemed very friendly.
Great value for the price!
Only negative - and its small - we had better breakfasts at other B&Bs while visiting on our trip. Breakfast was delivered to our room by Michele, but the pastries and meats, cheeses while very acceptable were not as fresh and delicious as some other places.
I would absolutely come back or recommend to friends.
