"Perfect stay at the Caledonian"
What a lovely stay we had at the Caledonian guest house the room was spotless the bed was extremely comfortable the location of the guest house was spot on. Breakfast was delicious with a varied choice. The guest house also has it's own parking which is a bonus in Plymouth as most places require a parking permit.

"Great for dog owners and really good location!"
Spent one night here whilst traveling alone with my dog. Both made to feel very welcome and the owners were very helpful giving advice as to where best to go and walk the dog. The nearby Devonport park was superb. Room was lovely and the full English breakfast very good. If there is a down side to this place it is only that it has shared bathroom facilities. Although having said that the facilities that they had were both modern and very clean. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

"Nice bed and breakfast"
We chose the first because they were one of the few we could find in Plymouth that allowed us to bring our dog. The room was large and though it said it was a double it was actually had a double and a single which meant we had quite a bit of room. The bed was comfortable and warm and the breakfast in the morning had lots of options. Checking in and out was very easy and parking was available on the street outside overnight.

Pocket Guide: Devon Plymouth 3 stars Hotels

The principal town of the south west, Plymouth is famous for its maritime legacy. The Hoe, where Drake awaited the Armada, overlooks the magnificent harbour (Sound): home to naval dockyards and warships, accessible on sightseeing cruises. The bustling atmospheric Barbican district by the inner harbour, with its narrow streets of Tudor and Jacobean buildings, is where the Pilgrim Fathers sailed from. Visit the Elizabethan House and the Plymouth Gin Distillery, as well as the National Marine Aquarium - one of England’s finest.
