Stayed 4nights (23/8 to 26/8). Really good hotel. Buffet Breakfast are excellent. All the staffs are very poliet, patient n helpful. But some of the hotel staffs have to improve English. Toilet seat are in yellow color and the shower of my room 31042 at Level 14 is spoiled n need to take some time to satisfy the shower. Also no wifi. If I want to get one day pass wifi, I have to buy at least coffee at the Bar means terrible. Overall, 4 out of 5. 👍

This hotel provides excellent friendly service and is well accommodated with all you need for comfort, location and services. It's beside the Chayo Phraya River and next to the boat taxi ramp for good transport along the main river. Close to shopping along Phra Arthit Road and Kao San Rd and all the surrounding streets with many markets and shops. The Navalai Hotel is in an excellent location, and we had a great experience staying in the hotel.

Of course, if you choose to stay in Khao San Rd, you can't ecpect quiet environment and silent nights. But my room was opposite to the road and could rest good enough. A little bit poor breakfast. Annoying wi-fi: quite poor signal, had to login every time I got connected and the account expired every three days.
Remember to carefully hold the deposit receipt: you won't receive the bht 1000 back if you can't exhibit it.

We stayed here several nights while exploring Bangkok. The hotel was well located for us. It is on a canal, but that canal is not used by the ferries. It is just a few blocks from the river and then a short walk to one of the river ferry docks. We took the river and canal ferries several times to get around that part of town, where most of the sights are. The hotel arranged for a canal tour for us and that was interesting. Otherwise we didn't use the hotel tour desk and I am not sure that they had the best selection of tours besides some of the standard ones. We walked several times the few blocks down to the Kosan rd area. The street above it and below it are the better options for shopping. Coming back from the weekend market we took the sky train to the river and then the river ferry to the dock nearest the hotel.

When we arrived back at the Chinatown Hotel for the second visit to the hotel, the staff recognised us straight away, welcoming us back. We where then off to the Cambodian Embassy to organise our visa, they called the embassy to make sure the address and opening hours where correct and organised a taxi to take us. We can not fault the staff and their attitude to the guests staying at their hotel
