Located next to the marina, it's got a beautiful view.
Small, but clean pool, plus a natural pool/tiny beach with sand, with all kinds of reef fish swimming in and out. Awesome!
All 6 rooms face the water. Private terrace, with hammock.
Hard to find, affordable stay in Puerto Aventuras.
Surrounded by mansions and yachts.
You won't get rude neighbors.
Everybody it's cool, and ready to help.
Definitely coming back.

I have been going to Playa since the 60's when there was one hotel a bus station and ferry to Cozumel. No Cancun til 80's no airport. Came from Merida on bus
Have been going all these years to Playa. Sometimes expensive resorts but usual we like to stay right downtown. Will stay at El Colibri next trip and forever after if it continues as it is. On the beach, great staff, nice room, good beach club.

Really great value. Beautiful hotel with a cool jungle/forest interior and the rooms surrounding it. Sam and the rest of the staff were really friendly and nice. Room was comfortable. Hotel is super close to the main strip and also off the main strip if you want to walk around a different style of area. Don't go expecting the Four Seasons, but certainly is a great place to stay.

If ever in Playa, you should try the Deseo Hotel. Amazing plaze, good service, helpful and kind staff, The rooms were amazing, but you have to like House/lounge music, since the rooms are close to the most perfect roof-top bar. We loved our stay there, a dream come true.

what is so special about this hotel is that you feel so close to nature. We stayed in the two bedroom rental, it has three floors and the top floor includes a deck that places you in the tree top canopy. The roof is a thatched roof and there is lots of natural material incorporated into the construction. If you want large feather beds and a big screen TV, this is not your hotel, but if you want something unique that is easy on the spirit, this is your spot. The only draw back is that there was so much construction going on around the hotel that it was hard to enjoy the peaceful grounds during the day.

The most amazing experience for our first time in Mexico. Staff was beyond friendly, food was amazing, and shows and music every night. Hotel is feet from the sea and they take wonderful care of the grounds. I fell more in love with this place each day we spent there!! A must stay!!

The inn keeper here is extraordinarily accommodating. We arrived on a bicycle after 6 PM. Vegetarians, we were unlikely to find suitable grub in Francisco Uh May. He opened the kitchen to make us grilled cheese. At check out, there was a misunderstanding about whether or not we had paid for breakfast. We thought we had, and our host accepted our iPhone documentation without complaint. There are fancier places, but this inn keeper will take good care of you even if your needs are a bit out of the way.
It's a nice place close to the Coba ruins, and has oceans of hot water for showers.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at zulum hotel. We found the hotel to be a safe place for our two children to run around.
The rooms are authentic mexican style and the whole hotel is geared toward providing a very relaxed and carefree experience. it is well located right on the better part of tulum beach and is walking distance to many conveniences.
The staff were always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Served great pizza and fish tacos.
