We recently spent 2 nights at this hotel and had a great experience. The hotel is beautifully decorated, well maintained, and very clean. The rooms are unique and the beds are fabulous. A word of caution; however, there are no TVs. Having no TVs were fine with us as we spent most of the time outside the hotel. In addition, the free internet allowed us to keep us with the world news.
The staff is also very friendly and they were able to recommend some great local restaurants in the area. In addition, we met the owner and she is lovely. She has many wonderful stories about the building and she is truly focused on her customers. I highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind having a modern building with TVs.

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and look forward to our next visit! The hotel was recently updated and the decor was modern and sleek. Rooms are very clean and furnished with modern furniture, LCD satellite TV, A/C, ceiling fan, laminate flooring, modern linens and bathroom has a nice-sized shower. There is valet parking for a nominal fee. On the second floor, there is a great terrace, which is where the simple continental breakfast is served daily. There is no elevator and we didn't see any rooms on the ground floor, so you may want to consider that if you have mobility issues. The only downside to the rooms is there are no chest of drawers or dressers, only floating shelves, so you either have to place your clothes on the open shelves or leave them in your suitcase. Our room had some hangars near the door. Also, there is no seating other than the bed, which was fine with us since we were only in our room to sleep. I had no complaints whatsoever, the staff was very friendly, and Casa Condado was a great find in Condado! Also, the Metro Bus to Old San Juan is a block away and only 75 cents!
