Too much to write!! It is convenient, perfectly located, offers spacious rooms, feels like a homey condo complex instead of a soul-less hotel and has amazing staff.
Security patrols at night.
It is home away from home. You want all your friends to come visit. We had the ground floor room, #11, and every morning just rolled open the Window doors facing the beach and went for an early dip while coffee was brewing... wicked...

"Outstanding service and quality for great price!"
From the moment we arrived we were treated warmly, which was much appreciated after a long day of traveling. The food tasted great, the people were friendly and easy to talk to, and the units were clean and air conditioned. The kitchen was stocked enough to where we could make meals easily if we wanted to save some money. I would recommend buying groceries in San Pedro before arriving if possible. It made it easier to snack when it wasn't time for meals. The pool was very clean and the pool bar was fun and friendly. We also spent some time at the pool at the sister resort, Coco Beach, which is a two minute walk south on the beach and you can buy food and drinks there and charge it to your room. Coco Beach had a water slide in one of their pools, which we found very entertaining. The hotel tours company, Tuff Enuff, took us out to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley. We had a great time, and the snorkeling with sharks did not disappoint. There is plenty to do on the resort if you wanted to stay and play, but there was also a very well accommodated ferry from the resort to town which was very reasonably priced. Great place. Very clean and very fun.

The resort was overall a good experience. I would say you're only as "marooned" as you want to be. The bike (and lock) was free to use while we were there. We went shopping in town before we got picked up. The privacy with blinds issue others brought up was not a concern for us at all. I even packed spare sarongs in case to toss over the windows and didn't need them. I would caution everyone to not leave food on the counters or in your beach bag on the floor. There are ants. It is an Island. We prepped all food on the table and never left dishes in the sink (learned from our mistake first day). The ants did not get into the cupboards with food, so that was good. Kitchen comes stocked with a starter set of kitchen ware. If you like a super cold room all day, keep the blinds, doors and the wood blinds between the living and bedroom closed and the temp will maintain quite nicely. The only thing we found less favorable was the bar staff. They weren't as friendly as I read. We were ignored each time we went to the bar. The staff seemed more interested in drinking with other patrons that were glued to the bar every time we went by. Also, don't get excited with the ice cream in the room menu. It's not really all available, and the staff will act confused when you ask about it. The owners makes it on the island, and the choices are very limited, if at all. We like ice cream so that was an initial excitement for us. All other staff members were very responsive and friendly.

We stayed there for a week during mid June. It was perfect for us. We stayed in a junior ocean view suite that had a great view of the ocean and overlooked the pool.
The room was clean and the beds (queen and sofa bed) were comfortable. The AC worked well for relief at the end of long days outside. All in all, the room was very comfortable.
We did the Lamanai ruins excursion, snorkeled Hol Chan and shark alley, made an afternoon trip to Caye Caulker, and spent the rest of the time either relaxing at Mata Rocks or wandering around San Pedro. The Lamanai tour was great and filled the whole day. Hol Chan was an easy morning diversion.
It's very easy to get around. The staff can arrange a fifteen minute flight from Belize City airport to the island. It was worth it after a long day of travel to Belize. A complimentary cab will take you from the San Pedro airport directly to Mata Rocks.
Getting around is easy. If you like to walk, you can walk along the beach to downtown (where most of the restaurants are) in about twenty minutes. There are plenty of places along the way if you don't walk to walk that far. You can also check out bikes free of charge or rent golf carts (which most of the locals use rather than cars).
For us, the easiest thing to do was take a cab. They're cheap and get you downtown in five minutes.
Hurricane's bar/grill had the best seafood, hands down. Simple fresh food and nice service.
Be prepared to slow things way, way down

Located just feet from the small island airport and golf cart rentals to enjoy all that the island, beach, and reef have to offer ! Staff was excellent, they were always available yet willing to let you do your own thing. second time to stay there, and plan on staying there next time we are fortunate enough to return ! No high resort prices, yet full access to all that the island has to offer! Always felt safe.

I stayed here with my 11 year old daughter. We felt very safe. The staff was very kind and helpful! I lost my phone in Belize City at the Ferry. The staff called around for me and helped me locate my cell phone! I can't believe I got it back.
The rooms are nice and immaculate. It has 2 pools and a nice beach front with a dock. I will stay again and I would reccomend it to everyone!

Sunbreeze Suites is everything we needed. Close to the shore for walks on the beach. All the tours you book will pick you up and drop you off at the dock. We ate dinner at the restaurant but also ate at other restaurants close by. When you walk out on to the streets you will see lots of locals with there handmade wood crafts and jewellery made with shells and red corals and turquoise just beautiful stuff for sell. Shops and grocery stores are right close by. So the location is excellent. Our suite was like a little home away from home. The bedroom, washroom and kitchen and dining sitting room were all separate rooms. We could get up in the morning and make our own breakfast and eat the local fruit we bought. Then have coffee on the balcony with a gorgeous view and the famous San Pedro breeze. Staff was friendly. We ordered the 5 gallon water jug for our room and had it delivered right away. Our house keepers were sweethearts. If you need anything like if you run out of coffee you just have to ask them. Oh and the coffee they give you for the coffee machine in the room is sooo good. Thankyou Sunbreeze Staff for making us feel like home.

A great hotel on the beach with separate thatched roof rooms. Food is the best you could ask for and the service is excellent. They have a dive center on site. Only one problem is you have to take a boat to town, but you can walk to two other hotels if you want to take in a different meal. You can rent a boat with a guide to take you fishing first then snorkel then you go and have a bar-b-q what you brought in fishing. That was so much fun.

We had a wonderful stay 6 night stay at Royal Caribbean Resort and highly recommend it to anyone. Yoran, Carice and the staff were so nice and friendly. They were there to answer any questions we had and even helped us with contacting various local companies to help us confirm our tours...since our cellphones did not work in Belize. The front desk staff also helped us book our Hol Chan snorkeling tour and the tour company picked us up from the resorts own private dock. (however, the snorkel tour itself was pretty strenuous...not recommended for kids...just a little side note )
The resort was peaceful and quiet and the grounds were beautifully kept. If you are looking to relax, this is the place to go. They have the largest pool in San Pedro and they also have a small beach on the premises with chairs to lie out in the sun. The resort is just a short golf-cart ride away from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Pedro. You can even rent a golf-cart on site for a much lower price than other rental establishments. There is a fridge and microwave in the cabin and a TV with every channel imaginable. The room itself is huge and spacious and the bed comfortable. The only complaint we had during our stay was that there were some ants in the room, however when we told the front desk they took care of the problem and it was fine.

"Beautiful location, great staff, painful policies"
Quiet, secluded, relaxed - 7 miles north of San Pedro. Perfect place if you want some R and R. If you're heading there be sure to stop in San Pedro for groceries etc. before heading out - there is little once you're there (although the bar staff makes excellent drinks).
Everything at the hotel is shut on a Saturday (with the exception of the bar): the shop is closed, no kayak or bikes are available for use, no excursions, the staff were all in a meeting for over an hour in the morning. It's their policy. The policy does not change (opening the shop for an hour on the saturday would have solved our gripes and those of other guests). The hotel caters to people staying on a week - arriving on a saturday - hence the policies.
