The hotel is located in the centre of town. The rooms are big and nicely decorated. It has a fantastic view of the Cathedral from Hotel Murillo roof, where you can have a drink enjoying the view. Easy to get around, there are lots of bars and nice restaurants to enjoy wonderful Spanish food.

Our experience was superb although admittedly we had a 'superior' suite. We had not one but two terraces with views over the cathedral and the Real Palace as well as a lovely old town roofscape. The suite was very comfortable, very clean and exceeded our expectations.
The position is ideal right in the middle of the old town within the narrow pedestrian streets (although the bin men seemed to take delight on making lots of noise).
All in all a very good and unexpectedly good experience at a price which seemed right.
Obviously we cannot speak about other flats but the one thing that does seem consistent is the standard of cleanliness which is a good as you will see anywhere.

Our experience at this hotel was all about trade-offs. The room itself was more than sufficient size-wise (including the bathroom) and the old building that this hotel is in was well-maintained. We also enjoyed the small walkout patio overlooking the street very much and the continental breakfast spread was a big plus. The first trade-off, however, was the bed situation - my wife and I could have dealt with the two single beds in our room had they been reasonable comfortable (they were not). Back on the plus side, the location was SUPERB - just a 2 minute walk from the Seville Cathedral and Giralda Tower, a 3 minute walk from Real Alcázar, a 5 minute walk from Plaza Nueva and a 10 minute walk from Plaza de España. This also provided for a number of food options in the immediate vicinity, however, a number of them were clearly tourist traps - if you stay here, make sure to get some reliable recommendations for where to eat. This also brings the second big trade off into play: the noise at night time. The proximity to restaurants in particular makes for a significant amount of noise that lasted well into the night each of the three days that we stayed here. While we definitely would have benefited from more quality sleep during our stay, I must say that I think we got a smokin' deal on this hotel.

Initially, this property was a bit difficult to locate in Sevilla since it is an apartment and not a hotel. We didn't realize that we were supposed to submit an estimated arrival time so we had difficulty connecting with the office to get into the apartment. This business uses phone communication which was difficult for us since our US phone service was not operational. However, once we finally connected, office staff arrived from across town to check us in. She mentioned that estimated arrival time was noted on the website, however, I never saw that information.

Good hotel, but would have preferred to have a window looking not to the courtyard - it felt a bit claustrophobic, as well as uneasy if you open the window and worry about it as it ooens into the common hall.

I stayed in the Hotel Boutique Elvira Plaza for two nights after flying in from the states, before moving in with a host family in the city. This was the perfect hotel to relax, rest and explore the city for a couple of days.
The rooms were clean, and fresh. From my second floor room i had two french windows that opened out onto the beautiful small plaza full of orange trees, benches, small restaurants and a water fall.
Even in January, it was the perfect temperature to open the french doors and hear the relaxing fountain in the plaza. Plaza Dona Elvira is pedestrians only, so my taxi dropped me off maybe a two minute walk away. But this made the plaza beautifully peaceful and relaxing. The streets surrounding the hotel are beautiful! You can get lost in them for hours walking past cafes, tapas bars, shops and other plazas and parks.
