We were made to feel very welcome. The room was cosy and warm and the bed was comfortable. Excellent food and bar which was great with no need to drive out for food after a busy day. Very relaxing time and staff were excellent. Would recommend this lovely place to friends.

After booking, I called Achill Guest House to enquire about parking and I had the pleasure of speaking to Mary to was very helpful and enthusiastic and even informed me of places I could eat that evening which was very kind of her (Re parking, there are 4 spaces on the drive which don't need to be booked in advance - there usually is a free space, but even if it is full, there is some safe on-street parking on the road opposite the guest house).
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mary who was once again very friendly and welcoming. She showed me to the rooms upstairs and gave me a choice of rooms. I settles for room 5 which has a double bed and a view out the front of the house. Mary told me everything I needed to know and asked what time I'd be having breakfast and that was that.
The room itself was wonderful, full of character without being overbearing. There were some lovely exposed beams, a nice size en-suite and an extra heater, in addition to the central heating. I found the bed very comfortable too and had a very peaceful nights sleep.
In the morning, I came down for breakfast which was lovely and I was able to watch my choice of TV whilst eating it.
In summary, I had a very nice and comfortable stay. I almost felt like I was staying at my aunts house or something which is so much nicer that feeling like you've stayed in a hotel and it's great value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again the next time I have an event at the NEC.

We were exhibiting at the NEC so this place is great being 10 mins down the road, but oddly feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. The accommodation is in cleverly designed, designer pods dotted around the large garden, the great breakfast is in the main house. We liked being semi-detached in the garden and the fact you can sit out in the sunshine it felt like very glam glaming. The owners were great and we loved the free minibus into the NEC. Even though its at the end of the runway of Birmingham airport and you can see the lapel badges on the pilots! they stop at about 10.30 and don't start again till 6.30 so a peaceful night was had by all. This will be our home for future exhibitions without doubt.

We could not have asked for a more relaxing experience. The peace of the countryside , modern interiors and great hosts and 3very friendly dogs. If dogs are not your favourites the hosts were quite happy to keep them away from you. The dogs were also good with children. Two extra surprises apart from the horses were the deer and the peacocks. Wonderful time was had by all.

Having read previous reviews I was unsure of what to expect with the quality of the rooms. I am pleased to say I was more than happy with the cleanliness and presentation of the room I stayed in (Murenes). If this was a reasonable example, then previous reviews were not totally accurate. The food was really good and the staff most hospitable.

I stayed 1 night at Tudor Court, with my boyfriend after we had been at a gig at the LG Arena together. I know there are a lot of hotels that are closer, but we didn't want to stay in Birmingham itself and Tudor Court was the highest standard hotel I could find for the best price within our budget and desired area.
There was easy access and regular trains to the LG Arena , and even when we missed our train home, the taxi back from New Street cost less than £20 (much less than we expected).
The hotel is lovely, with an old fashioned homely feel, and even though we're a young couple we didn't experience any hostility (some hotels wouldn't even have us as we're both under 25).
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast in the morning was amazing!
We loved our stay in a lovely room with an ensuite, everything was clean and pleasant. Very quiet at night too.
Overall we loved our stay here, would definitely recommend the hotel and would love to return ourselves.
