"Great hotel for the money"
I needed a place to stay in Santa Rosa and this was the nicest hotel for the price. Checked in late and got a good room on the second floor. I usually like to be on the highest level because I don't like to hear people walking loudly above me. Surprise! There is no elevator so I had to carry my bags up the stairs. Ok, no big deal, I'm healthy. Got to my room and it was clean, comfortable, and had a modern decor. Nice flat screen. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. I had a bit of work to do and tried to connect to the free WiFi. It could not detect the network. I went downstairs and no one was at the front desk. I said, "hello!" loudly a few times before I decided to walk into the back area repeating "hello" several times. Finally, the person heard me and said they would be with me. I know it was after midnight, and quiet, so I can understand if they need a little rest. No biggie. The problem was, she couldn't resolve my internet problem and since they were completely booked, I couldn't switch rooms. I had to use my cellphone as a personal hotspot and connect my laptop using that. If WiFi is important to you, you may want to get a room closer to the lobby. Next morning, I took a quick dip in their pool. Thought it was refreshing. Ate breakfast at the hotel's restaurant using the free breakfast vouchers I received at check-in. Thought the staff there was courteous and professional. Food was good. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I generally tend to not sweat the small stuff.

"Nice, quiet hotel property, Santa Rosa"
This is a very nice property, quiet and rooms are very modern, inviting and reasonable. I had a 2 queen bed room, it was perfect. Comfortable beds, lots of pillows which I love, and overall very nice. I really slept good as it was nice and quiet. I ordered room service one nite, it came within a half hour and was very good. A little pricey but good. I do wish the room had a refridgerator. I guess I should have asked for one, as I was leaving my room one day and saw one in the hotel hallway so maybe they only do it on request. I will ask next time. Staff was more than friendly, very accomdating, made you feel welcome. I did eat in the bar/restaurant, and it was very good! Good service too! They also have a nice pool area, with nice good condition patio furnitur

"Great hotel, great location"
Enjoyed our stay at Flamingo. It is central to shopping, sights, and great eating. The rooms are clean, roomy and we had an extra bedroom that was great for 3 people in the room...and there wasn't an extra charge. Staff was very helpful and pool setting relaxing with a cocktail!

"Mid-week respite"
I was in town for an overnight business event. This was a perfect place to stay. Easy to get to everything--especially, the A Roma Roasters across the street! Appreciated the flowers on the window box. OH and how lovely to have a Keurig machine right in the room.

Geyserville Inn is a great little find. It's cute, clean, and conveniently located just off 101. And the price is really a bargain. The new restaurant next door is also great.

"A welcome surprise"
After driving several hours on seriously curvy roads down the Pacific coast we were quite tired. Check in was a breeze. The exterior of the rooms looks a bit dated and weathered, but once you get in the room any anxiety you harbor falls away. The rooms are beautiful. The beds comfortable with new sheets and blankets. The floors are a mix of tile and carpet, both immaculate. My wife and I stayed in room 5 with a private hot tub out back and a great view of the ocean. It was foggy, but that added to the experience. We even saw four deer walking about on the grounds. The store across the street was a bit of a disappointment. We ended up going a few miles north and having a nice meal of beer battered salmon and a bleu cheese burger. Friendly staff there. In the morning there's not much for breakfast in the area so we hit up a place in Jenner that served breakfast with a Mexican twist. Delicious. Either way, plan ahead for food needs if you aren't just passing through. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and discussed returning again, which is something we've not ever done after staying at a chain hotel. Nice people and a great little place to spend a few days. Recommended.

"Historic hotel, great location"
I liked this hotel for a night, but would confirm the other reviews that you can hear everything going on in other rooms and the hallway. Luckily, the other guests were fairly quiet, but it could be really bad if anyone is a light sleeper. I could actually hear the man in the next room snoring. It's too bad, because this hotel is SO cute, with period piece touches that are so charming. Clawfoot tub, comfy bed, good coffee in the a.m. You feel like you're in a gold rush museum at times. I;d say the price is right for a one-night stay to be in town and walk to dinner.

"Great hotel."
The hotel is great. Right in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country. After spending a day tasting wines, you can go back to the hotel rest up and walk to Downtown Santa Rosa for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised on what Downtown had to offer. It's a very central hotel close to the freeway with an exceptionally friendly staff. Room is very comfortable and clean. This was our 3rd time staying here, we will return soon hopefully!
