This is a nice hotel in an area of Iceland that has few. The location is convenient to some very scenic places like the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, and is within driving distance of Skaftafell, the major draw in the area. It is a little expensive, but the rooms are nice. Dinner is expensive (though not unduly so by Icelandic standards), and the breakfast is terrific (though it costs extra). Wi-fi was free when we were there, though this may not always be so. The standard rooms do not include a kettle or coffee-maker, but you can get a teapot full of hot water at the restaurant, so bring your own teabags and instant coffee.
We had the most wonderful time at this hotel, it was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our European holiday. We had a room with huge glass pane giving the most beautiful view of the ocean.
Breakfast was excellent, good variety of option given it was quiet season and a make your own waffle bar! Staff member, young gentleman, very helpful and informative, very cheerful. Hotel was across the road from a diner so it was easy to go for a walk to get dinner.
Would highly recommend - best hotel and staff in Iceland!!

Our room was in one of the cabins about 100 meters from the main building. Beautiful view overlooking the amazing country side. It was clean and bright with a little more room than a typical hotel room. The TV didn't work, not that we needed it, and WiFi was only available in the main building and even then was only suitable for sending and receiving emails... Excellent breakfast with hot and cold buffet.

Welcoming staff, great room, delicious food and some awesome hot tubs. All in all a great stay. Not the best hotel for the northern lights as Fludir has lots of light from the town in it, but a short drive into the hills and you see them perfectly. Best place to stay near Geysir in the Golden Circle.

Stayed one night in a room for 3. Room was spacious and beds comfortable. Also had a bath in the bathroom as well as a shower. Excellent swimming pool and hot tub outside. Breakfast was poor so recommend finding a local bakery instead.

Hotel staff is awesome - especially Julian. Clean, nice rooms. Shower doesn't actually have a shower stall, so shower can create a mess in the bathroom. There is a curtain, but water gets all over the floor. Decent location, but there's nothing close by. Make sure you eat dinner prior to arriving or be prepared to spend a lot on the hotel's dinner.
