This hotel is really good. From outside it will look like an old building, but from inside its a castle. Huge rooms with nice & well trained staff. Really appreciate Infotainment Tourz Pvt. Ltd. for booking this hotel for us.

We stayed at the Amulet Hotel for 3 nights in mid-September. The hotel is easy to find, right opposite the Metro station and in a fantastic location for Palace Square, Nevsky Prospect and the river. We stayed in Room 1 which was large, clean and comfortable. It overlooked the street so there was a little road noise and some noise at night from people on the street, but not enough to keep you awake.
The staff we met (Darya, Olga and Elizaveta) all spoke good English and were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was provided each morning at a time to suit us, and we had to pick from several different options the evening before, e.g. eggs, porridge, pancakes. The breakfast wasn't really anything special, but fine and filling. We were also able to wash and dry our clothes at the Amulet for a small fee which was really welcome after travelling for a while.
The area around the hotel feels safe and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. The bakery next door (to the right) and the restaurant / cake shop further up the street (also to the right) were both excellent. The hotel is also close to McDonalds, Subway, Teremok etc if you need something quick and cheap.

A clean, efficient mini hotel with a generous breakfast to fuel you through your day. Guests have access to the kitchen and its appliances. Very comfortable room. Don't let the entryway scare you away. The location is convenient and quiet.

Our first ever visit to St Petersburg and we booked to stay at the Marks Inn - purely based on Tripadvisor reviews and the price. We were slightly apprehensive due to the low price but we shouldn't have worried. Our stay was absolutely brilliant!
We struggled a little to find the hotel initially, but after a few false starts we stumbled across it. The girl on reception was helpful and we then went to our room. We found the room to be very clean, with all the amenities you would want. There are also grocery stores nearby to buy water etc. In the hotel, there is a communal kitchen which you could use if you wanted, although we never during our time there.
The walls are a little on the thin side, but paying the price we did in this very expensive city, you cannot have everything. This hotel offers excellent value for money and is located a short distance from two well situated metro stations making travelling around the city very easy. There was no air con but there was a fan which made sleeping ok (we went in August), perhaps not ideal but on the plus side probably better for the environment!
St Petersburg is not yet a tourist mecca (a great thing in my opinion) but that means that it can at times be a little daunting, this hotel makes you feel safe and very welcome in a somewhat frosty city. A gem of a hotel offering wonderful value for money.

It's only a very short walk from TWO metro stations. Large rooms, great water pressure, wonderful bed, tv, bathroom facilities. Very reasonable price and includes excellent breakfast. Staff speak English and do not laugh at my Russian. Kristoff Restaurant equally good and serves classic Russian cuisine.

Very happy about my choice! It looks not really good outside and maybe hard to find it, but very nice inside! The room was clean, the customer service is excellent! We wanted to change the room, because it was close to front desk and we were worry to hear talking and phone calls. Despite on hotel was completely booked we were able to move to another room! The breakfast was amazing, not as much as we had seen in other hotels but very tasty, and in Russian tradition! Location is good as well, just walking distance from Palace square, also lots of shops and places to eat.
