Good: The location was great, very close to the main Termini station for airport and many other transport links and within easy walking distance of a number of sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when we arrived early. We were able to leave our bags with confidence and they even placed them in our room for when we got back from exploring a few hours later. There are a number of restaurants on the same block as the hotel and the one directly next door had phenomenally good food at reasonable prices.
Not so good: the room we had was a little dated and worn with a few missing tiles in the shower but it was very clean. The noise insulation between the rooms wasn't brilliant but didn't disturb us when we were trying to sleep

The room was actually bigger than I expected. The desk managers were very helpful and kind. My only complaint was that we missed our breakfast one day as we had early morning tickets. It was to be served at 7 AM, but the woman in charge was late to work and we could not wait. Oh well.......seemed to be the attitude of the manager.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Lilium. It is charming and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I booked a single room, but they had a double available and upgraded me when I arrived.
The location is very good, just a little hard to find. There are no signs on the exterior. Even tough I had been there before, I walked past the doorway a couple of times before recognizing it. But it is minutes from central Rome and a 10-minute walk to the train station.
I have recommended this hotel to friends and will most definitely choose it again if I return to Rome.
