We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Union Club. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and the building itself has lots of character and charm. We really enjoyed being able to sit in the bar or the large old reading room in the evenings with a glass of wine. The surroundings added an air of relaxation and a slowing down of time. It may not suit everyone and there is a dress code when in the hotel but this was not a problem.

We loved Victoria, a picturesque town, small enough to walk almost everywhere. Craigdarroch Castle is a must, also Fishermans Wharf with its colourful houseboats and many eateries. Plus the scenic waterfront. Bucharest Gardens, half an hours drive out of town is also not to be missed.
