"The best staff and hotel I've ever stayed in!"
I spent a lot of time researching what hotel to stay in while visiting Washington as I was traveling with my kids. Beyond the perfect location for DC, (blocks and central to the White House, National Mall, Dupont Circle, The Metro, and Georgetown), I wanted a good size room as we were staying for a week. The room featured an L-shape couch and coffee table to relax or play on, plenty of floor space, as well as wall to wall windows that open. Beyond the location and the room itself, the Quincy has one of the most thoughtful, and genuine groups of people working there that I've ever encountered. We were treated with professionalism, smiles, and kindness from the start. Our stay was during Easter week, and also my sons birthday. Much to my surprise on Easter morning, I found 2 Easter baskets outside our door, I was blown away. The day after Easter, my little one turned 6. After a long day of seeing the sights and walking around, we arrived to our room to find balloons, a hand written card from the staff, 3 Orangina's, and a little bag of candy tied up for each of my kiddos. This to me, was the true definition of customer service, but beyond that, these kind people went out of their way, and spent their own money, and took the time to make it a special day. When we left, I felt like I had just visited my friends. So a huge thanks to the Quincy, and especially to Tylor, Selena, Fahib, Manny, Neal, and Miguel. You helped make it one of the best vacations we've had!
