We stayed for three nights. The restaurant at the hotel was great, so we had all our breakfasts and diners there. The prices were reasonable and we wouldn't have saved any money by driving somewhere else. There is all kinds of mountain hiking to be done. I recommend going in late Jun - Sep so all of the trails are open. The town the hotel is small and picturesque. But there is still a bank and grocery store close by. The shower is the room was awesome. The pillows in the room were terrible. So were the towels. It was weird that everything was great and then they had these terrible towels and pillows. The internet was slow, but it worked and was included. Overall this was an awesome place and the price was right.

Excellent stay.. probably the nicest staff I found on a 3 week trip in Germany and Austria. Highly recommended. No free wifi, but available for a charge. Restaurant food was excellent.
I recommended the internet be free like most hotels and guest houses for future!

The staff at the Lukashansl are the most accommodating I found on my recent tour of Europe. They did everything possible to make my stay as comfortable as possible. And whilst the facilities at the hotel are good the location is superb - very convenient both for Zell am Zee and the Grossglockner Road. Recommended!
