Spent 3 nights at the Eurostars La Rambla. Great location. Nice modern room (501) with balcony (although overlooked the back of the hotel). Staff friendly. Nice to hear the bustle, not too loud, when balcony door open. No complaints about room. Very clean. Didn't eat at the hotel because we ate outside. Only disappointment - I couldn't connect to hotel Internet.

Real nice room that matched the online pictures. From my window, I could see La Sagrada Familia and the real ambiance of Barcelona's boulevards.
I was there during the big celebration of St. George (St Jordi) and the staff placed a red rose and a book on my bed, which is a tradition for this day.
Close to the public transportation which is a nice convenience for tourists.
The breakfast is really good, diversified and the staff is very nice, polite and willing to help the guests.
All in all, if I will go back to Barcelona, I will check in the same hotel.

Excellant Hotel in great location. I stayed here for 3 nights and wanted to be close to the la rambla. Its close enough to walk. Hotel is next to some great restaurants. Also close to the Barcelona city tour bus stop for touring the city. Bus stops and metro stops are close by as well. Very close to a taxi stand for trip to the airport. The hotel was a great value for the price and would stay here again. Researched a lot of the hotels in the area and chose this one for its price, location and rating. I was very happy with the selection.

Stayed 7/9 Aug. This hotel is on an industrial estate so a car is a must. Very clean nice hotel on a par with premier inn hotels in uk. Two nights here cost us £79 cheap as chips best value we got from the 5 hotels we stayed in on this road trip. Pool was nice well maintained and staff pleasant. Did not eat here preferring to eat out in small town about 5min drive away. Room only got ok because I found bed a little bit "uncomfy" but being so tired from Barcelona trips soon fell to sleep.
Ask at reception where train station is and catch train into Barcelona, park your car for free in side street ( make sure it is free parking and not pay and stay.) The cost for two is € 9.40 cost you more than that for fuel and parking plus no hassle of taking car into busy Barcelona. Recommend this hotel to all.

Via Laietana runs through the centre of Barcelona and the hotel is within 2 minutes walking distance of Jaime 1 Metro station. Easily accessible from the airport via train and then transfer to metro.
Positives (lots of them)
Left out of the hotel and a few hundred yards up the road is the Cathedral. You can walk to La Rambla within 5-10 mins through some nice/safe side streets. From there you can walk to Plaza Catalunya at the top of La Rambla and then Plaza Espanyol within 45 mins. Al the key city centre toursist spots and bars are that close.
Turn right out of the hotel and within five mins you're at the Marina, another 5-10 mins and you've walked to the beach. Beautiful coast line with wide open spaces if you like the view but don't want to venture onto the beach. The beach runs for a couple of miles with plenty of quiet spots.
The Picasso gallery is a few minutes from the hotel (down one of the side streerts opposite it).
Dunnes Irish bar is next door (cheap food/drink with friendly staff and sport on TV. A small convenience store is also a few doors down the road.
Whilst it's a busy road the noise was never a problem (I had an inside room with no view of the main road - not sure if this would have been an issue with a room on the main street.
Negatives (very few)
Expedia advertised massages were available but this wasn't the case (my back needed one after a delayed flight)
Beds were quite hard and pillows too soft.
