We tripped across this hotel in a review and I am glad we did. This is a really high quality hotel located in the suburbs of Berlin. In the morning we would drive into Potsdam and take the S-Bahn into Berlin or stay and explore Potsdam. We chose the low price suit but there was a push to up sell us a larger room. The cheaper rooms are located on the 5th floor with low sloped ceilings with dormers. Really wasn't a draw back since we were only there to sleep and shower. Note: You can catch a bus from the hotel to the S-Bahn.

Loved the place the moment I stepped in!
Arty leftfield wacky amusing creative rock'n'roll hotel - just loved it! I felt totally at home there
Loved our room - clean, modern, alternative, stylish. The bathroom & spacious walk-in shower room made us feel like VIP posh-nob types / rock stars haha!
Loved the TV screen which was cleverly concealed behind the huge bedroom mirror - opposite our bed ;-)

We were able to check in early and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was extremely clean and well put together. The location was superb as it was in the heart of Potsdam and therefore one could access all the sights by foot. Local cafes and restaurants are really close, but I definitely recommend the hotel restaurant as the food was extremely delicious (the best I had on my trip so far), well priced, and the service was great, the same goes for the breakfast too! The hotel parking was a little bit hard to find, as you have to drive through a tunnel to get to the underground parkade and lobby.

Lovely hotel, has all good facilities, located between two tram stations that are really close, and if you do not mind taking the tram for two stations or even walk, then, it is not too far from Alexanderplatz area that is not only a big commercial area but has excellent transportation connections to all other parts of Berlin.
Contrary to what we were worried about, the tram cannot be heard in the rooms and it is simply a quiet part of town so if you want to get over your jet lag, this is ideal.

Arrived later than expected due to problem getting a taxi at Tegel flugplatz. It was probably down to Germany spanking Brazil in the World Cup 2014 (7-1) and everyone watching /listening to the football! Single Rooms were big enough and bathroom spotless- could have eaten your meals off the floor. Bed very comfy. Did not try catering but bar average for hotel and proximity. But found a "local" bar within 10 mins walk of hotel where treated like locals.not auslanders.
