We cannot fault the hotel it was really nice. More than happy with room. Food was good. But the noise was terrible. Loud teenage athletics club in on Friday night. Running up and down corridors, shouting and knocking on doors. We went out to them just after 11pm. To ask them To settle down. Saturday night was worse. In the afternoon and evening we had a group of children, I think wedding guests, running up and down screaming. Later there was a lot of shouting from the car park. which was outside our window. Then after that all we heard was doors banging and this went on until way after three in the morning.. We have stayed in hotels all over the world, but hand on heart I have to say that this was the noisiest of all. My husband and I went away for little break, we are fast approaching our 70s and specifically Asked for a quiet room. We did not expect so much noise. We were absolutely shattered in our long drive home

Overall we were pleased with the hotel - great for a family stay with kids. It's location is excellent, being close to the City Centre. The rooms were good, comfortable. The only downside was the plumbing for the bathroom where the flush was slow and the buttons difficult to press for little ones. If this is improved, then it would have been 5* all the way
A good little tip is that there is a reduced rate for breakfast if you book in advance and children eat free if a breakfast is purchased.
Overall a avery enjoyable stay

This hotel really is lovely and our stay was fantastic from start to finish. We had a deluxe room and it was spacious and very clean. The king bed was huge and the mini bar and snacks available were all great. The bathroom was the highlight of this room with a huge roll top bath and enormous walk in monsoon shower which nearly knocked me over it was that powerful. The bathroom had a clinical feel about it which was great as I guess it was based on one of the bathrooms from the old eye hospital. We had a front facing room and there was a bit of noise from the front street from passers by late on a Saturday night but nothing to loud or after 12 ish so not so bad. One bad point with this hotel is the lift. It's an old looking open lift shaft and very small inside. Slow going up and down. It got stuck on the way down on one journey and although not in there for more than 5 mins did start to panic. We were on the top floor but when we go again will sure to take the stairs. Apart from that flawless hotel and really impressive for a special occasion. Going to stay here agai ldn and would recommend to anyone.

Stayed in hotel on a Saturday when visiting LG Arena to watch Ant and Dec. The hotel is lovely. Parking was easy.
The 2 girls who greeted us on reception were very welcoming and even recommended places to eat and where to go in Solihull. Hotel directly opposite Solihull town centre which was nice to have a walk around. The hotel and room were very clean, nice comfortable bed and had a good size pool area. Unfortunately we didn't get time for a swim but did have a look and was a good size. Hotel arranged our taxi to LG Arena and only took around 15 minutes and only £10. Bargain. After the show we went back to the Slug and Lettuce pub which was over the road and opened til 1PM. Very lively.
