A good sized hotel, big enough to have all the required facilities but not big enough to get crowded. Quiet, roomy accommodation just outside of a very interesting small town. Well worth visiting the Tourist information and then the old town before heading off (they can advise on free parking locations). The pool was lovely as, even in early June, the temperatures were about 33 degrees. The location is on the border of a National Park, plus just over the Portuguese border, so a good spot to take a break when driving to/from a place like Lisbon to Salamanca. If you like nature there is enough in the area for a few days. A popular walking area in cooler months. Reasonable prices and good quality in an interesting building. Highly recommended for a journey break.

EVERYTHING WAS GOOD ABOUT THIS HOTEL, ITS EXTREMELY CONVENIENT FOR THE OLD PART OF TOWN AND RESTAURANTS .CAR PARKING IS EXTRA, AND IS ACCESSED BY A LIFT ,DIRECTLY BELOW THE HOTEL. ITS VERY GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE, I WOULD RECOMMEND IT

The hotel was superb and was extremely close to the old town - 3 mins walk. The room was large and modern with free wi-fi. Caceres is a wonderful place, however the plaza mayor is currently a building site. You can get a great 3 course meal in the square inc wine for 10 euros. I thouroughly recommend the place and the hotel, although you do have to pay 12 euros a night for parking

Lovely old building which has been sensitively converted into a comfortable hotel with modern amenities, set in a charming small town. The quality of food in the restaurant was mainly good and breakfast was excellent. Only a couple of minor complaints: there was a bad odour coming from the air conditioning in our room and our beds had waterproof mattress covers when we first arrived - very clammy and uncomfortable in the Spanish summer though I could understand the need had it been a family room (we are a senior couple). To be fair, housekeeping removed mine when I took it off and laid it to one side. The swimming pool was beautifully clean with comfortable sun beds and ample showers. Towels for use at the pool would have been a welcome addition.
