We had a wonderful stay and hope to return every year. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was just perfect for what we were looking for. If you want to get away from stress, this is the place to go. Not much to do in the town or at the hotel, but bring a few books and enjoy your sun deck, truly amazing! Not good for kids.

I spent 3 nights at this charming site. Although a provided shuttle ride is required to get to and from the hotel to train/ town, it was easy to arrange and readily available. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This delightful accommodation run by Piero, Carla and their son Davido, is located high above the village on Via De Batte. At the start of your stay, If you have luggage, it is better to catch the Cinque Terre National Park bus, which will drop you at the top entrance to the Residence. Here you place your luggage in a container, which operates like a funicular, and transports all down the steep slope, where it is collected by Piero or Davido. With just a backpack on, it is easy to negotiate the 350 steps down to the village and train station from the lower exit, which is located at the end of the terrace running the length of the Residence. Each room has a privately screened terrace from which you look over Riomaggiore and being so high, you are above the hustle and bustle of the lower village tourist activities.
Barista Piero was usually in charge of morning coffee making and both he and Davido provided good advice about various walks in the Cinque Terre region; and they were a good source of useful local information. Lovely hosts.

A friendly and relaxing hotel in a quiet location away from the buzz of the nearby beaches. A short walk from local restaurants and convenient for all the regional attractions ( by car). The owner and his wife couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. The hotel was immaculately clean and well maintained and room was spacious with an open view across the inlet to the headland beyond. An early morning swim followed by a relaxed breakfast was a great way to set yourself up for the day. We will definitely return.

Stayed at La Spezia one night so we could day trip to Cinque Terra. Had enough time to visit the resort and beach area of La Ricci (only about 15 mins away). The hotel is only a few blocks from the shopping district and some of the higher rated restaurants. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of variety and an awesome self serve espresso machine. The hotel can park your car for 20 euro or if you can find a blue spot you can park overnight by buying the ticket after 8pm.

I contacted the hotel before we left requesting for a cot for our 11 month old baby and when we turned up a cot was already set up in the room which was a nice touch. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us lots of advise on train timetable, restaurants close by, what to see, train tickets etc. Buffet breakfast offers great variety. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you are travelling with little ones.
