"Very pleasant surprise."
This is a residence hotel in the newer part of downtown, near several big shopping centers and the Ministry of Culture, and an easy walk from the Centralna train station. We had a beautiful 2-bedroom apartment, very nicely updated with sleek new bathroom fixtures and hardwood floors. Checking in was easy and pleasant. There are all types of eating and shopping choices right outside and within easy walking. Although it is on a restricted mall-type pedestrian street, we saw taxis frequently dropping off and picking up. The bottom line - a great place to stay and explore Warsaw.

"Nice hotel in the very centre of Warsaw"
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week and really enjoyed it. At first we were in a standard room with a double bed and then transferred to an apartment with separate sleeping and day areas. Even though the apartment was more expensive, we didn't find it to be much nicer than the standard room or as spacious as we had expected. Thus, I personally wouldn't recommend spending the extra money on an apartment, unless you really need a separate day area with a couch and second desk. Note that this hotel doesn't have a swimming pool. It has a large jacuzzi, sauna, and a very small gym.

"Completely renovated inside; outside Soviet style"
The hotel is in the Soviet style building; apparently in the Soviet days the neighborhood was that of party and governmental offices. Inside it's completely renovated. I would give 4**** but it's quite pleasing. Do not purchase their breakfast - you may eat in small places in a walking distance for thrice less.

Pocket Guide: Warsaw City Centre Warsaw 4 stars Hotels

Poland’s capital city has eclectic architecture. Warsaw’s Old Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1980, even though 85 per cent of the city was destroyed during World War II. Since Poland joined the EU in 2004, Warsaw has experienced a huge building boom. Modern skyscrapers, 1950s-era East-bloc buildings, and centuries-old Gothic architecture all dot this city of 4 million’s skyline.
