With no kids and extremely helpful staff from cleaners/gardeners to the top made this experience the tops, especially Ice. We wanted peace and quiet and we got all that plus the ability to do what we wanted at our leisure. We had Bure 2 which is one of the furthermost away units from the main buildings (very quiet)set back from others with a slightly higher with better view of the beach. etc. Although not many activities planned they provided a couple of small twin hulled yachts, Kayaks(single and doubles) /Surf Boards, snorkeling and scuba gear so you can be adventurous yourself. We didn't want organized/timed activities and this made it even more relaxing. We took lots of snacks/dips and duty free drinks as no food outside normal times. Cell phone coverage was good and Wi-fi available close to - Restaurant and bar only. Bure close to this also has coverage I believe.

From the moment we arrived at Lomani we knew that it was special. The 'check in' took place whilst seated on a lounge, a drink in hand, as a staff member gave a small presentation about the resort and the amenities. The one to one nature of this set the tone for a very personal service. The rooms were very spacious and the outside shower (there was also a standard indoor one) was divine - a real treat. All the usual activities were free as were the snorkeling and dolphin watching trips, unlike at the nearby resorts which charged for these. The only complaint was the time it took for lunch to arrive after it was ordered. However, after the first day when we sat waiting in the restaurant, we ordered lunch at the pool so we could keep relaxing or swimming or just lazing on the beautiful daybeds.
The food itself was delicious, with an a la carte menu at all meals and daily specials included at dinner too. Cocktails were great, but sadly no 'happy hour'!
One of the best experiences was the Managers cocktail party, Cava Ceremony and buffet dinner. We generally avoidthings like this but decided to give it a go. What a great night it turned out to be. Very special.
We can't wait to go back to Lomani, the best holiday we have in years.

Great clean & quiet beaches, good snorkeling, friendly staff, well appointed rooms and a good selection of dining options. It would be good if the evening entertainment started a bit earlier and consisted of a band with a variety of instruments for dancing.

We stayed in an Island (Amstrong) Villa (2 bed, 2 bathroom) with our 2 teenager daughters. Accommodation was perfect for our situation - spacious and well appointed with kitchenette. People were lovely - couldn't do enough for us. Food was fantastic (breakfast was included - dinner at Dicks Place was a bit pricey but worth it). Complimentary shortbread biscuits delivered to your room daily. Loved the relaxed feel of the Yacht club - a great place to have a drink and meet other guests. We took a trip out to Cloud 9 and thoroughly loved it - what an experience. Otherwise we hung around the resort and, thanks to the complimentary bikes, we got around easily. Snorkeling around the island was good as was the range of watersports - hobby cat, kayaking, stand up paddle boards, windsurfers. We attended the local church service for the island on Sunday - a lovely experience. We also had a massage at the Day Spa - a great way to end a fantastic week in paradise.

We had a wonderful family holiday with staff very attentive and friendly. The children didnt want to leave the kids club activities and the included non motorised water sports were always available and offered lots of variety. The rooms were of a high standard, this is our 4th visit to Fiji and by far the resort the best we have experienced. The food surpassed our expectations with a choice of three venues for adults. We intitially had an issue with conflicting booking information regarding our meal plans and the hotel obliged us by sorting out the issue in advance and promptly ensuring we were able to access the meal plans as agreed. We will definitely return.

We stayed at Wananavu for 6 nights in November, in an ocean view bure. It was beautiful and very relaxing! We enjoyed our time at the hammocks on the beach and also did a few trips (snorkeling, island hopping) which were amazing. Although the resort was booked out we hardly ever saw the other guests, it was very quiet.

We had a great 5 night stay at The Pearl during the 2014 Christmas break, the staff are wonderful and friendly, had great activities for the kids on Christmas Day as well as free activities on any other. Construction currently underway on the East wing - as we were on the West we hardly noticed, but even still, during the day, there are so many other amazing views and spots at the resort the construction is the furtherest thing from your mind. Only minor thing is that I had a 7 month old and it was difficult to get around the resort with a stroller due to the stairs. Definitely recommend the full body massage at the newly opened spa - more than well worth the dollar! The rooms are standard - we had an Ocean View Room and a lot of our other group had Garden View Rooms which are just as good, if not better. The bistro is a bit overpriced, except for the kids lunch menu which was decent - best to walk across the road to stock up on some basics at te servo or dairy. Overall our stay at The Pearl was wonderful, highly recommended and great value for money.
