"B&B at a beautiful quiet neighborhood in Florence"
We had arrived in Florence (our last stop) in our 10-day trip through Italy. Despite knowing the city well from ten years back we were ready for some change in the scenario so we decided to go with the recommendation of a friend and that's when we stayed at Residenza Casanuova. Its located at a quiet but bustling neighborhood not so far away from the city's main attraction where everything in walking distance. I'm usually the budget conscious person in my group but also a lover of history. The establishment is family owned and there is rich paintings around the wall to signify its heritage. One big recommendation for future visitors; you have got to check out the flee market just a couple of blocks away. I'm definitely a brand consumer and the stuff they have their is out of this world for very economic prices!! Enjoy your stay.

I stayed with my husband and two children aged 3 and 7 for one night. After staying in two other very traditional styled properties on our 9 day Tuscan holiday, it was wonderful to come to this clean and modern hotel. Our sat nav directed us straight to the hotel, which was only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Florence. The underground parking has CCTV and we were more than happy to pay 15 Euros to park there. We were thrilled to be so close to the centre of Florence, but feel like we were in the hills of Tuscany. The pool is picturesque and great for cooling off in. The food at dinner was great. The breakfast is underwhelming, but it does the job. Having eaten so much the night before in the restaurant, a bowl of cereal was just fine! It feels secluded and exclusive due to the fact there are only 12 suites all of which are nestled into the rock. The staff are lovely, and clearly enjoy working there. If you want the Four Seasons - go there. If you want a quirky retreat, a short drive from the town centre, with warm hospitality - this is it.

I love love this hotel. It is not your typical hotel. The hotel has a lot of personal touch to it. Room is very cozy, breakfast is excellent, staffs are outstanding! Its away from the city but theres a complimentary shuttle that takes you to the city throughout the day. Highly highly recommend it!!

It was little difficult to find due to lack of an actual sign on the side of the beautiful building in which this hotel is located, but once found, it was absolutely perfect. The staff was pleasant, accommodating, and efficient. The location is absolutely perfect....just a few blocks from the duomo, the river, all major attractions in Florence. The room was immaculate, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The shower was the best I've ever experienced in a European hotel.

"We have already recommended to several people!!!"
We were so impressed with our room, it was beautifully decorated just like a show home, even the pictures had accent lights! The hotel staff were very gracious and helpful. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio bridge and our room looked right out onto the Arno river. The hotel has charming shops right out the front door. We ordered room service twice and the food was absolutely delicious and delivered quickly. If we didn't have other travel commitments we would have stayed! My best friend is going to Florence in a couple of months and I highly recommended this hotel, she has already booked it. I can not think of anything that needs improvement, it was perfect in every way. We will definitely be back!!

There are not enough stars to accurately rate this hotel. But please don't book there. I am planning on
coming back and I don't want to stand in line (so many lines!) to make a reservation.
I love Firenza, and I love this hotel just as much.

Excellent overall. Hotel is within walking distance of all the major tourist sites ( Galleria Dell Accademia, Basilica & Uffizi Gallery etc) and coach station. Looking out the window and seeing the Ponte Veccho first thing in the morning was superb. We had a great 5 days there and would recommend booking tours of the major sites to avoid queues.
