We enjoyed our stay at Campos de Baeza. It was an easy walk into the historic centre, which is well worth a visit. Breakfast was fine, if unexciting, and the hotel was well equipped. We didn't find the bed hugely comfortable, but the room was otherwise excellent. We would stay again if we were visiting this corner of Spain.

This is a very unique parador experience. It is located right in the heart of Ubeda, which is a beautiful historic town that is kept extremely clean. It is a great place to spend 4-5 days enjoying the hotel, the town (there are a variety of historic sites to see) and even some small day trips in the surrounding region. This town also has exceptional restaurants (that provide you with the true tapas experience), great cafes, small shops and markets. The hotel is also kept very clean with charming period piece furniture (which are great yet can appear "dated" in style in relation to more modern hotels) and a great courtyard. WIFI is free yet best reception is in the main courtyard. The staff is very friendly and assists with check-in (especially since there is no parking on-site). Parking is not a problem as there is plenty of free street parking in town.

This hotel is way better than the pictures show! We arrived after a long, tiring and stressful journey and this was all forgotten the second we entered the hotel. There was underground parking for free and the spa was open till 10pm - fantastic as we arrived at nine and were still able to unwind in the pool, jaccuzzi and sauna until 10pm when we went for a fantastic meal outside in the courtyard. The room was superb and I can't rate this hotel highly enough. A real gem! Would go back in an instant and wish we'd stayed for longer!

Very convenient for walking around all the historic sights of this small town, but very difficult to access by car, even with Google maps in hand, due to the one-way system in the narrow streets.
The breakfast buffet was good.

Misleading positioning on map. This hotel sits in an industrial estate at the mouth of the motorway. No bus and a lack of footpaths on the main roads means the only option is to use expensive taxis too and from the city. I found the jacuzzi cold and scummy, the pool non operational for another two weeks, and the sauna required a 20 minute wait for it to be heated for you. Each morning my room smelled of sewage until around 12 midday. Staff were friendly and spoke pretty good English, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Nice little balconies too - even if they were in the shade.
