Four of us stayed overnight as we were at a 70th Birthday party in Bispham, very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We couldn't have asked for anything more, we were looked after from the moment we went through the door to leaving the following morning. Everything about the place was excellent, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and first class breakfast. Highly recommended.

Booked family room, 2 adults and a 4 year old. Nice little treats (drink & sweets) left on the bed for my daughter. This was a chair bed, the metal folding mechanism a little exposed (as with any chair bed0, but caused no problems for her during the night.
All nicely clean and tidy - only a half bath, but sufficient for a short stay.
Was very impressed with the waiting staff for the in-house Italian restaurant (which doubles up for breakfast), very well mannered and appeared sincere - among the best waiting staff I have ever encountered at any restaurant. Not constantly bugging you during your meal to make sure everything is fine, just made sure it was perfect when they gave you the food - which was also very nice.

For a hotel predominantly serving business customers and motorway drivers I was pleasantly surprised at how good our overall experience was especially given some of the reviews. Six very dirty walkers in three twin rooms on a busy Saturday night were made very welcome. Customer service from all staff was excellent. Food, both dinner and breakfast was good for hotel fare, reasonably priced and fresh. Rooms were of a good standard and having a bath as well as a shower was just the ticket. Staff were quick off the mark when a brief power cut in one room interrupted a long soak.
Only two small negatives: one room was exceedingly hot even with window open and no radiator on and the wine was ridiculously expensive for some fairly mediocre bottles. Other than that a good nights stay and excellent preparatiopn for another days lonmg walk.

Beautiful, spacious room above restaurant in what used to be a coach house. Beautiful countryside. Breakfast was included, varied and delicious. Evening meals in restaurant also very good, many different choices. Very good wine selection.Friendly staff, special thanks to Gary for making our stay a very nice one.
