Great staff. We mentined it was our anniversary on arrival at 1am (in passing) and next day returned to find a free bottle of champagne and signed card. A really nice touch.
Staff were really helpful and friendly and hotel was really great quality. A fantastic place.

Everything about Number 16 is number one! The staff are great, the food and afternoon tea is first rate, the rooms, albeit small (all London rooms are) are beautiful and well decorated. The garden is wonderful and should be enjoyed in the morning for the amazing breakfast. I loved the neighborhood of South Kensington, and would live there if I could. It is 2 blocks to the tube, with great restaurants etc within walking distance including the V&A, nat hx museum and science museum as well as kensington gardens and palace. Would not stay in London if I cant stay here.

Stayed here for 1 night and it was great, good location, helpful staff (we even got checked in really early). The rooms are small as expected but the comfy bed is huge!! Love the tablet control for lights etc. We had a courtyard room which was really quiet even being in London. Breakfast not cheap but pretty good. Hope to stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in London's financial district. Quiet street with a few pubs and restaurants around it (can't say we ever heard noise coming from them) Handy for nipping out for a couple but not going far. Easy to get to via tube. Hotel itself was lovely, very modern with really helpful staff. Room was lovely with a king sized bed and a wet room like shower/toilet. Room has a large TV with a docking speaker, handy for iPods (I was delighted as it ment we could play Xmas music!) plus a mini fridge with free juice, no alcohol, but coke, diet coke, sprite, water, still or sparkling and chocolate (what more go you want!) also a hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, towel like robes and slippers. Lovely place and would stay again. One thing, I highly recommend avoiding the hotel restaurant, was rubbish. Even though there was only one other person in the place when we was there, we had a long wait for drinks and the food was below average. The only reason we went was because we was extremely tired after our long day walking about but I recommend going somewhere else near by. Other than that, the hotel is fab.

The hotel is a perfectly quaint place in a beautiful setting. It ouses range and class and will be the perfect romantic getaway. The staff are fantastic and the food is superb. I could not find a single fault with our whole stay as the room was also perfect. Overall I would say it's amazing value for money and couldn't be any better, absolutely faultless on all aspects.

Service was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Room had loads of personality and comfortable. The neighborhood felt like a pedestrian area, although it is actually on a one-way road, a block from the Farringdon tube station and with Paul's cafe across the street. The hotel lounge honour bar was a plus!

We had a lovely birthday/anniversary weekend at Apex London Wall. We stayed I a junior suite and were upgraded to a balcony for free (because of the celebrations I think!). The staff left rose petals on the bed along with a handwritten card which was a lovely touch. Hotel is superb, bar not overpriced but beware - If staying at the weekend there are no bars/restaurants open close by. We had to walk to the Barbican to find one which was Pizza Express. But we had been warned by reading previous reviews so we're prepared!! That said, the hotel is actually really well placed if you are going to use the tube - use Moorhate station rather than Bank - and they were filing Mission Impossible 5 at the end of the street this weekend!
