Very friendly staff... though probably a bit overworked during peak check-in/check-out times, especially given the tiny lobby area.
The room was very comfortable and had great connection points for electronic device plug-ins-- both for power and for connection to the television (plus iPod docking station alarm clock).
The bed was too soft, but first noticing this as I settled in quite late on the first night --and not wanting to bother the staff at that time-- with open access to the guest 'extras' amenities closet (one on each floor) I managed to get an extra blanket and stuff it underneath the part of the mattress that was not firm, thus solving the issue.

Me and my son stayed 3 nights at Club Quarters St. Pauls. The hotel was just perfect for what we needed and defiantly recommended for anyone traveling for several days of fun in London city center.
The location was central and the room was clean and comfortable.
Most noticeable was the family atmosphere, hotel staff were all extremely friendly. Special thanks to Tiago!

I was looking for a place to stay that provided easy access to transportation and had a restaurant on premises. Ironically, I only ate at the restaurant connected to the hotel once. That one meal was great. I am not a fan of loud fast beat music but I was hungry and it was Friday evening and folk were in the Christmas spirit. The service and great meal compensated for the noise. Unfortunately, their hours are limited on the weekend so I did not get to eat more meals.
There were several restaurants on the block that offered great meals. It turned out the party I was visiting lived within walking distance of the hotel and they suggested several restaurants that offered fabulous meals at a very reasonable price. I do not know if it is a British tradition but we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy the meal.
I was not use to the guest closets that were on every, floor stocked with additional soaps, toiletries, irons & ironing boards, bedding, etc. Although, my room was well stocked my wife, who did not travel with me on this trip would have been pleased. The lobby was not immense but very functional. The one plus was the multi functional coffee/tea/latte machine. I really enjoyed the hot cup of tea and fresh ground coffee in the evening and morning respectively.
Even the guest were friendly. I got married in Edinburgh and honeymooned in the Guernsey Islands. I'm sorry we did not stay in London on that trip.
