This was our first trip to London. We loved the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The coffee/tea set up in the room was welcomed first thing in the morning. There were always plenting of linens and bathroom essentials. The TV was large and the fact that it could be shifted from the sofa to the bed was a big plus. We found that the two plugs were sufficient for our phones and laptops; one more plug would have been perfect. We got coffee delivered to our room each morning and it arrived within five minutes of the requested time every day! The bar menu and wine selections was wonderful. We splurged one night on the multi-course dinner and wine pairings. It was excellent and our waitress was knowledgable and was able to answer all our questions about the menu. This hotel is so close to many must-see attractions (5 - 10 minute walk to the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and many coffee shops, small cafes, restaurants and train station. Harry Potter fans MUST hop on the train to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter tour and movie set....fabulous! Make sure to go to "tea" (between noon and 6:00 p.m. each day). Cabs are readily available and are clean and comfortable. I can't say enough good things about St. Ermins Hotel and the wonderful staff who made our first trip to London a vacation to remember. I would highly recommend a stay at this reasonably priced Marriott hotel in a great location; you'll love the beautiful decor and exceptionally helpful staff.

Traveling with a colleague for meetings in London over the course of a week and this ended up being a very convenient place to set up shop. Roomy 2 BR 2 Ba flat with a decent kitchen and a nice little balcony. Very friendly staff and good wifi (35 pounds for the week).

Went to London to celebrate my 60th birthday last week, stayed in the Crowne Plaza Kensington. I had requested a room with a view and when I arrived I was given an upgrade to a suite overlooking the garden. Had a fantastic stay there for 5 nights, the staff were excellent from reception to the Breakfast staff and the people who looked after our room each day. Special mention to Victoria in reservations for all her help and excellent customer care. The hotel itself is very well situated close to all the main attractions and the underground station, Gloucester Road is across the street as is a good restaurant, Garfunkles. Would highly recommend this hotel for anybody planning a stay in London.

We've stayed at the Kingsway Hall Hotel several times and have always found it to be a wonderful base for a stay in London. It is near Covent Garden, theatres and many excellent restaurants, and Holborn tube station is a short walk away. The hotel staff is very warm and friendly and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast buffet features a variety of typical English breakfast-type foods and the Harlequin Restaurant is very good and offers nice discounts to hotel guests. This time, due to our Expedia status, we received complementary wifi and were upgraded to a very large room, which gave us the opportunity to relax in pleasant surroundings. We always try to stay at the Kingsway Hall hotel whenever we go to London and heartily recommend it to all visitors.
