Great location, very close to London Bridge station, so excellent for transport links with the rest of London. Borough Market is very close and a good place to go to enjoy delicious, cheap(ish) street food. It's a short walking distance from the Shard, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, London Bridge Pier (for the Thames Clippers) and the Thames Path that easily takes you to Tate Modern and the South Bank. The nearby views across the river to the City of London are fabulous. After dark, a stroll along the Thames provides some great sights - The City lights at night, the Shard lit up and Tower Bridge in all its night time glory.
The hotel is modern, clean and quiet, with really comfortable beds. We didn't use the restaurants for any meals, as there's so many other great places to eat. There are minibars in the rooms, which seems rather quaint, as we can't imagine who'd pay such prices for drinks and snacks. £26 for a 200ml bottle of champagne, anyone?
But ignore all that overpriced stuff and enjoy the hotel and its surroundings. It's a really good base for getting easily to the so many of the sights of London.

We recently booked an overnight stay for a family of four, ahead of an early morning plane departure from LHR airport. Having booked a family room, the staff at reception were quick to point out a big ceremonial function at the hotel that night, and offered to move us from the family room (right above the function rooms) to two interconnecting rooms on the other side of the hotel at no extra charge. We found this kind gesture extremely courteous and enjoyed the space of the bigger rooms. The rest is top-notch as you would expect from the Hilton.

I only stayed in the Trafalgar Hotel two nights but was very pleased with the cleanliness and
comfort of the room with a view overlooking Trafalgar Square. The hotel staff could not have
been nicer especially Austin and Ibby. I lost my wallet the 2nd day in London, containing all my money and credit cards. These two kind gentlemen were immensely helpful to me and even
assisted me in getting to Heathrow Airport to make my flight back to the states. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London, England.
