Fantastic hotel in London's financial district. Quiet street with a few pubs and restaurants around it (can't say we ever heard noise coming from them) Handy for nipping out for a couple but not going far. Easy to get to via tube. Hotel itself was lovely, very modern with really helpful staff. Room was lovely with a king sized bed and a wet room like shower/toilet. Room has a large TV with a docking speaker, handy for iPods (I was delighted as it ment we could play Xmas music!) plus a mini fridge with free juice, no alcohol, but coke, diet coke, sprite, water, still or sparkling and chocolate (what more go you want!) also a hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, towel like robes and slippers. Lovely place and would stay again. One thing, I highly recommend avoiding the hotel restaurant, was rubbish. Even though there was only one other person in the place when we was there, we had a long wait for drinks and the food was below average. The only reason we went was because we was extremely tired after our long day walking about but I recommend going somewhere else near by. Other than that, the hotel is fab.

Service was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Room had loads of personality and comfortable. The neighborhood felt like a pedestrian area, although it is actually on a one-way road, a block from the Farringdon tube station and with Paul's cafe across the street. The hotel lounge honour bar was a plus!

Excellent hotel, free drinks and food weekdays. Great access to Westfield and the Olympic park of you are sporty like me. Will definitely come back again. Staff helpful and friendly, even let me check in early. Great big bed to sleep in and fantastic views. Worth the high rate.

This hotel is in an excellent location near Tower Bridge and a five minute walk to the Tube station. City Hall and HMS Belfast are just around the corner and the Shard a couple of minutes walk away. Southwark Cathedral and the Borough Market are also in the immediate vicinity. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes in the area so no need to eat in the hotel which is pricey to say the least. The desk staff were very friendly and efficient. We arrived at 10 am and were able to check in and get our rooms right away. Our double room 409 was spotlessly clean and well serviced throughout our weekend stay. The bathroom, although spacious enough had a leaky shower door and a basin with a broken plughole which is not a great reflection on the Hilton name. However we didn't complain as it would only take up precious time.
All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great base for a London city break.

Lovely contemporary hotel on the doorstep of the Tower of London. Close to 3 tube stations, so most of London was accessible.
Room was perfect, big comfy bed, clean and everything there that u would need.
Only slight gripe.....we tried to check in slightly early which fair enough couldn't do, so we were told it wud b ready in an hr, so we headed off for some food. We returned over an hr and a half later (well after check in time) and our room was still not ready, so we had to wait around for a bit.
Other than that, it was a great stay and we wud stay again.

Stayed on a very busy day in the pre-Xmas run up. Hotel staff could not be more accommodating. Room very clean & comfortable and we would definately stay again. We decided to park at Canary Wharf which was only a 10 minute walk away and we planned on shopping there anyway so it gave us somewhere to leave our bags.
Very minor, upon arrival for pre-evening drinks in the bar we were asked to take a seat and our order would be taken, these took 15 mins to order and another 15 mins to arrive, so we ended up having to drink them in a hurry to catch the shuttle bus, which is a lovely conveinent touch.
We booked for family including two teens and there was plenty of space for us all. On booking we requested in advance that the sofa bed was made up and also a rollaway bed (which we paid extra for) however we did have to request that this was supplied again before we went out for the evening - unfortunately this was a very old and saggy so not comfortable at all, which was not the expected standard.
