While this hotel is not a quaint little hotel, being a highrise, it was a great place to stay. It is right on the beach and a short walk to the middle of town. The service is exellent, the staff friendly and the food good. I would go back.

I had not realised that the room I booked would not have a view, since the pictures from the hotel only showed it with a view. When I arrived i was put in a "standard" room facing another hotel, no view. I paid extra next day for an upgrade to a room with sea view. Excellent. Would be helpful to explain this in the offer.

Great hotel in a wonderful location, everything you could wish for outside the hotel was a stones throw away.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly and it was a very relaxing place to stay.
My only criticism was that if travelling by road to the hotel, then it was extremely difficult to locate and once you did then the car park was equally difficult to find. The hotel is located in a paved area and is not accessible by road. However, once you have located the car park then a porter comes to your rescue. Very expensive to park your car on a daily basis. Having said that, we had a very nice stay there and will certainly return.

Hotel Playabonita is excellent in every way, the only drawback is that it is located some distance from local night life (and day life). Hotel has first class facilities and supplies local courtesy bus daily, but it is difficult to use the towns local facilities in the evenings. This is our only critisism.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The hotel is set up as an all inclusive but we only went as bed and breakfast, which was plenty! The only downside is that there is no on site cafe for lunch/snacks etc however there are plenty of restaurants/cafes nearby. The pool is a little on the small side but the beach is right outside.

It needs to be said this hotel is pretty amazing, the rooms are lovely and cleaned well, mine had a view overlooking the beach and was just awesome. The staff are helpful and friendly it was nice to be advised to make myself comfortable and treat the hotel like my home. The only real flaw here would be the food in the restaurant, it's not very good and a shame to seem mass-produced items and canned fruit when things should be available in high season. My recommendation would be don't do the inclusive there are plenty of restaurants around that you can pick and choose from with much better food. The only other slight thing would be that wifi is not available all through the hotel only in the lobby but not so much of a problem as there are plenty of places to sit and the signal is strong

"Super hotel, great location and views of beach/sea"
Great hotel, with helpful & friendly staff. Food was excellent both quality and choice and everywhere in the hotel looked clean. We stayed there, celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. We had requested a double bed, but the room had twin beds side by side. The room had great views of the beach and sea, it was really lovely being able to hear the waves. There was satellite TV as stated, but the UK choice could have been better and only offered news channels or the radio. There was a mini bar to use at extra cost, but tea/coffee making facilities would have been useful. Overall, very pleased and would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

As this was our second stay at the hotel they must be doing things right. Could not fault any of the facilities or service by the staff. Will probably be booking for the next year. We spoke to others whom we met last year and saw many familiar faces of guests from our last visit so they must enjoy it as much as we do.

I don't usually write reviews but my daughter and I had such a nice time here that I would recommend it to anyone.
We arrived at around 12pm and the room wasn't ready so we were offered free drinks in the bar while we waited, the staff were friendly and some of them are great characters.
The room was comfortable and clean.
The grounds of the hotel are spacious and a nice place to be in general. The choice of indoor and outdoor pool is a great asset.
It's child friendly but you don't feel over run by kids.

The hotel is very nice - built in 2010 so all brand new, and everything worked well. The staff are lovely and helpful. The grounds are picturesque, and we had a very relaxing time there. The hotel backs onto the beach, and it is possible to walk to Estepona along it (past a nearby nudist beach). It takes about 45 minutes - wear beach shoes as it gets rocky. The dinner buffet is very good, but a little pricey at 23 Euros per person. Restaurants in town are tasty, atmospheric, and often cheaper, though it costs 15 Euros each way to get a taxi (too far to walk for a night out, and there is not a continuos pavement). A hire car would be a good investment, and would allow one to explore the area more easily. Note: the hotel can book excursions - do ask. The "Spanish Night" horses / flamenco excursion comes recommended. The hotel's evening entertainment is best suited to families. Overall, we would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would go back. P.S. the breakfast buffet is definitely worth having - amazing choice!
