Very nice, small resort with nice nature and beautiful ocean. Very nice and helpfull stuff. We didn't like very much that people may smoke anywere they want.. At least in restaurant it would be nice to abstain for other people comfort.. Italian island, so most guests were italians, maybe based on that - the animation was in italian. A lot guests from Germany as well. Some english, some other countries, so animation in italian was hardly understandable. Food - excelent, full of variety, fresh, tasty. Overall - very nice holiday destination !!!

This island, the hotel and the Maldives are just beautiful. The island and hotel are very well presented. The over the water villas are brilliant a few steps down into the crystal clear waters. The all inclusive package is definitely worth it. The best thing about the Maldives is the sea life just a short swim from the villas you can see many different beautiful coloured fish and even black tip reef sharks (slightly scary). A must do in a life time

It was our first stay in an island. And we stayed in a water villa for 2 nights. Stay was very nice. Room was good. The first advantage of water villa we felt was we can do snorkelling just underneath/next to the villa (something like private).

While everyone warned me that Maldives can prove to be a boring holiday destination, especially if you stay longer than a couple of nights, we wish our stay was a few days longer. Kuramathi is a larger than most resorts which enables them to provide lots of regular alternative activities to sun bathing and swimming. We stayed 7 nights and tried as much as we could: snorkeling, fishing, parasailing, kayaking, spa .. A few extra days and would have also tried their diving experience. The resort is clean, well equipped and while at times I had to call reception to ask them to have a new shampoo or serviettes, overall their service was very good. There are over 700 staff on the island with almost 300 villas yet everyone who we spoke to remembered our names and vila number.
They also have a unique nightly activity where they feed sharks and sting rays... Quite fascinating and unique.
We haven't been to other Maldivian resorts but this one has not disappointed. It also seemed to be very popular with returning guests..

Stayed one night at O resort and two nights at water villa. I saw friendly staffs smiled to me everywhere I went. This resort is very well upkeep despite its long year of service (25 years anniversary was celebrated last year). One thing I wish to mention to management for improvement is the seaweeds at water resort. I saw Kuredu staffs clearing the seaweeds but the seaweeds grow with the pace much faster. However, the breathtaking view at sand bank near water villa is the perfect spot for photoshooting.

Hubby and I went there there for our honeymoon in mid September, and the place was unbelievable!! It was better then what we expected and much nicer then the photos we saw before we went. The staff were very friendly and everyone spoke good English so there were no communication barriers. The water bungalow we stayed in was perfect for us two, very spacious, clean and the views were to die for! You could swim under the bungalow or just sit around and relax at the beach which was just a short walk away.
The food was great, so were the tours available on the resort. It was an amazing experience and we recommend this place for everyone!!
Just keep in mind everything is quite expensive, so if you can do half board at the least, as there are no shops to buy snacks or food from, just restaurants and bars only.

My trip was amazing. The island is so beautiful. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious and while I went to get away from hectic US life, and enjoyed the tranquility of my personal balcony, there were plenty of activities for someone who gets bored. There's an activity area with badmitton, ping pong, hammocks, wind surfing, jet ski rental, etc. I loved this resort and plan on going back as soon as I have the funds available.
