"Great hotel - 20 mins by taxi from Dalaman airport"
We flew to Dalaman for a long weekend (Thursday night to Tuesday morning) and had 4 complete days in the sun. All-inclusive hotel with water gym, boccia, rifle shooting, water polo, beach volleyball, tennis, table tennis etc. Nightly shows in amphitheatre (entertainment staff don't work Mondays). Gala night is Thursday (which we missed as arrived too late). There is a 1km walking track around the grounds which is great for some gentle exercise. Alternatively, walk along the beach to the rocks at the end (30 mins each way) for an all round tan. Shallow water and sand is absolutely superb. Lots of watersports available for hire on the beach from canoes and pedaloes through to kite surfing. Vast breakfast and evening buffets. Lunch at pool and beach bars. Bottled water everywhere. Ice creams (those in packets and soft scoop) on offer throughout the day. Afternoon tea and cakes in Cafe Turk. A la carte restaurants needs to be booked one day before, so we didn't get to sample them. It seems the beach bar converts to the a la carte restaurant in the evening and is not open every night, so one night is say Italian, then night off, next night seafood, then night off and so on. Air conditioned gym open from around 6am until late. Hairdresser and few small shops on site, though if you want to browse the shops, it is only a 7 minute walk down to the centre. Alcohol available until 2am in disco bar. Were the only 2 English there - rest German/Russian.

This is a charming hotel right across the promenade from the beach with two lovely clean swimming pools at the rear. Staff are friendly, helpful and were a real boon when I had a cycling accident and need medical attention. The views from our room at the front were fantastic, sunbeds with mattresses on their own beach, good food at reasonable prices and entertainment on some evenings. Stayed with husband and two teenagers and fuond it delightful.

We booked this hotel at the last minute due to a change of plans. We found a well located place, steps from the beach and a boardwalk where you can find lots of restaurants and night life. One of the problems at many places in Turkish is the smell due to poor sewage systems, this hotel had none of that. Internet in the rooms was not good, but it worked fine in the lobby. Buffet breakfast. 10 minute taxi ride to ferry. Parking is kind of "wherever you can find room" on the narrow street, but that seems to be the case all over Turkey, and there was a security guy at the front door watching the cars.

Stayed at Caprice last week with my family. On arrival we had someone help us with our bags to our room. We booked a family room. The family rooms are in a separate building to the main building. Rooms where big and spacious. Decor a bit tired. Beds not the most comfortable. Aircon was remote controlled and at no extra charge. Weather was so hot even at night. Aircon a must. Bathroom was not very clean and between 5-7pm water in the room was a problem. Not sure if due to too many people using it before supper. The staff were so friendly and nice. They were always intertaining my kids. Even the catering manager would come pick up my 2yr old daughter and get her a drink. Good location to shops and a two minute walk to the beach. Food was a bit repetitive but can always eat out as so many restaurants available near by and very good price. Rooms cleaned everyday with clean towels but linen only changed once

Booked this hotel as it had a 4 star rating. But we found it ratings are not the same in Turkey. 4 star is 1 star at most. This hotel was a disappointment from the very beginning. The staff are miserable and unwelcoming. Although one or two were ok. The staff refused to help us with luggage or general request. You also have to pay an extra fee if you make mark on the hotel towel!
The hotel is very run down. Our room looked like it was going to fall apart. We had asked for non smoking room, but upon entering room, the smell of smoke was very heavy. The bed was very uncomfortable and nearly breaking. We always felt like we would fall of the bed. The walls were not sound proof, we could clearly hear the people next door and outside the door. We often heard our neighbors in the bathroom. The food was below adequate. There was not much to choose from and often it was fried and frozen food. There was always flies wafting around.
The swimming pool is tiny and always busy, we were not able to use it. There wasn't much of a selection for drinks.
We do not recommend this hotel at all.
