We had a good stopover at Hotel Ballina on a trip up the coast. There isn't much immediately around the hotel, but it's easy to get to from the main roads, and a good base for the local area. The hotel and room were both very good, and the staff were particularly friendly and helpful. There was a wedding there the night we stayed, so it was a bit loud outside (we could hear the wedding dance going on), but it didn't wake my 2-year-old. We didn't stay long enough to use the pool or breakfast facilities.

"beautiful views from dinning room and our bedroom."
On our early arrival reception staff extremely helpful as we were attending a wedding reception being held in the hotel that day. As our room was ready they allowed us to use it to change for it, although usually it is 4.00pm before releasing rooms.
Food was exceptional. Breakfasts and the wedding meal were very of a high quality. Waitresses and waiters very competent and friendly in both dinning room and the function room. In all a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Hope to return and enjoy once more the excellent facilities this lovely hotel offers.
