The Fairmont was lovely. The room was beautiful and clean, and the room and the view that I had had been accurately described to me; the staff was unfailingly friendly, helpful, patient and courteous. The location is good and a short walk from some of the major sites of the city, which is incredibly beautiful. I do recommend taking one of the tourist buses that takes you around town. Unfortunately, on the day that I planned to do that, it was raining, chilly and very windy, and those tourist buses are open in the seating area, so I didn't get to do it, but it's a great way to see a city. I did some walking, but in Monaco, the streets are very twisting - right around the corner and up or down some steps could be an incredible sight that you wouldn't know about on your own.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Before we left the states, I sent an email to them asking how we could get to the hotel and they sent us a list with several options. The gave us options of how to travel to the rest of the French Riveira. Staff spoke English. Monte Carlo is our new favorite city, it was so clean and the food was awesome.
Great views, everything seemed like a postcard!
