This is not in my opinion a 4 star hotel. The reception & downstairs certainly feels very welcoming but the rooms are somewhat basic, little touches make the difference - for example, I don't expect paper cups for the coffee making facilities in the room.
The restaurant was shut on our arrival (around 7pm on a Sunday). I know that many places in France do shut on a Sunday but to have no restaurant facilities on arrival after a 4 hour drive was a little frustrating.
We did eat in the restaurant the following evening, it was ok but expensive for what it was.
Would not recommend & would not stay again, not bad just not good enough.

We went to Mulhouse to visit the train museum. Supposedly this hotel was within a mile's walking distance from the museum. Couldn't find a workable map. Suspect the distance was two or three miles. No public transport. Hotel accessed from the railway station by expensive taxi rides.
Much better proposition if you want to visit the train museum would be to stay in Basel or Strasbourg and make a day trip.
