When I booked this hotel I requested an upper floor room. I got a room on the top floor with a view straight down Broadway towards Times Square. The room was immaculate, the staff were excellent and the location is unbeatable! 5 minutes walk South to Times Square, 5 minutes North to Central Park, and outside the door is Broadway. Brilliant!

I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff were helpful, rooms were clean and cleaned well. My room overlooked the road leading to the Williamsburg bridge, which I did not mind. Those that require absolute silence in their rooms would take issue with the sounds of cars passing outside. I did not have an issue with it, it wasn't particularly loud. Aircon/heater unit was a bit loud but they usually are.
I was worried that the hotel was far away from the sites but found myself walking from the hotel up to central park on my first day (I'm a bit of a walker so others may not wish to do this). The hotel was minutes away from Soho by foot and the attractions of the Lower East Side. I did touristy things while in New York but this location suited me perfectly without having to stay in Midtown.

This hotel is brand new and for the price was perfect. The staff was the nicest staff I have encountered in a long time. Loved the room. I judge all hotels by their showers and this hotel had a great shower.

We had three fantastic nights here- too busy to use hotel facilities - rooms really comfortable, staff friendly and polite, we had a fantastic view over Central Park. Could not have wished for more- except a longer stay.

A friend and I went to New York for a 6-day girls weekend. We were initially disappointed our room was not up high and on the street side with a view, but as it turned out being on the second floor at the back off the street made the room super quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, nice linens, nice pillows, comforter was a tad too warm so we had to run the air conditioner, which was not something we wanted to do. Nice hot shower, good TV, individual cup coffee maker, etc. It would be great if the management offered individual liquid creamers to their guests for morning coffee in the room.
The Chelsea location is convenient to site seeing uptown or downtown and near the subway. A lovely pizza restaurant is about three doors down, El Presidente taco bar is across the street (great brunch selections), and Mario Battali's "Eataly" is down the block offering a whole host of prepared and packaged food options. Directly west is the High Line -- a delight for a daytime walk and people watching. Chelsea Market is also nearby and well worth the trip.
