We came to Harrogate to go to a freinds 40th wedding anniversary party. As we had never been to Harrogate we decided to make it a mini break. It was our first stay at the Alamah but hopefully not our last now we have discovered the delights of Harrogate. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast kept us going, and Sue and Judy the owners were freindly and helpful. We will come again.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast on outskirts Harrogate in a lovely small village setting. Just what we needed to attend a nearby wedding.
Room very pleasant and extremely clean and lovely bathroom too. Breakfast on the Sunday Morning was far far superior to any hotel breakfast and was taken in the deli/coffee shop, which has a warm sunny and friendly atmosphere, Lovely Hosts. Thank You

To find a hotel during the busiest season which was willing to put us up for one night was fantastic but this one was a real find! The location was beautiful - stunning views, peaceful and full of character. As we are avid walkers, we will be going back at some stage to take advantage of the area as it is walking country. A lovely weekend - just what the doctor ordered!

"Superb setting for such a hotel on a grouse moor"
Soon after I had booked accommodation an email arrived from the Hostess with three different sets of directions just in case Satnav did not do the job properly for us, together with a welcoming brief which made a very good impression. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and provided with delicious sandwiches and cake in the beautifully furnished and warm lounge before going to our well appointed room. The beds were super comfortable with soft pillows and the room was great for the evening sunshine. The garden was immaculately kept and a suntrap. The breakfast menu was so extensive it was hard to choose from delicious fresh fruit to full English with all possible variations! We wished we had stayed longer and would certainly like to stay there again in such a homely but smart, well kept and well run establishment.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved the place. The owner Sue met us with a warm welcome and made sure we had all we needed. Not only did she cook an amazing breakfast each morning she also gave us recommendations of places to eat, (thank you so much Sue).
