"Great hotel in which to start a Cambodian holiday"
We were upgraded to La Rose Suites at no extra charge by the general manager who met us at the door. This was because we had overlooked the fact there was not a swimming pool at Hotel & Spa. We had lunch at the restaurant at the La Rosa Suites. The meal was the best food we had in all of our time in Cambodia. Swimming in the pool and falling asleep by the pool in the afternoon was a good way to recover from minor jet lag after an overnight flight from Melbourne Australia. We only stayed one night.

I stayed at the Kabiki from the 27-31 of October, and wished I had planned my holiday so I spent more time there. I initially had reservations due to the mixed (online) reviews, but my mother, child and I found it to be a wonderful experience.
The room was very spacious, and presented well. The beds were very comfortable and the canopy was a beautiful touch. The bathroom may have needed a revamp, but it served it's function.
The swimming pool was absolutely glorious, and the baby pool was a perfect depth for my 16 month old to play in. When we weren't exploring the city (many places in walking distance), we were exploring the property. It was a nice walk to be had, particularly for my child.
I found the staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were beautiful, and recommended some very tasty restaurants. I don't understand why previous reviews gave negative feedback about the staff, Cambodians are friendly and very hospitable by nature, there were no flaws in the service we received. I will definitely be coming back!

Our room was spacious, clean and had an incredible view of the river and the streets below from our balcony. We were looked after incredibly well, the breakfast that was included was delicious, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great with easy access to all along the riverside. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel in a reasonably close location. From here, it is probably best to get driven into town rather than walk, as the footpaths are not really walker friendly. It is a little further from the main eating and drinking area, but it's quiet, which is really good for a good night's rest. We got a free upgrade to another room, which was beautiful, and the facilities were fantastic. The breakfast was nice, and they were very helpful in providing us with takeaway sandwiches for our early morning bus ride, which we were picked up for before breakfast time. Never got to check out the pool. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful building, beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a few minutes by Tuktuk to the Russian market, and to the Royal Palace.
There were a few extra charges on our bill, like a tourist tax and service charges, admittedly very small, but overall it was an excellent stay.
