The hotel was fantastic.
Clean tidy and reception very accommodating. Found it strange all prices at the hotel were quoted in Euros but you could pay in Cheq Crowns if you wish
Breakfast was more UK than continental as the variety quality and quantity was amazing
Location was not in the centre (which we knew before we arrived) but was amazed what was available a short walk away. The hotel is directly opposite Patrinsky Gardens which is well worth a steady walk up the cobbled paths to the top and take the fennicular back down
A 15min picturesque walk by the river will get you into the centre across one of the many bridges

Very nice hotel and great location. You can walk anywhere, you dont have to use public transport.
Rooms are very big, hige bathroom. Great staff. Breakfast was very good.
As Im from Czech Republic, I was very pleased to stay in this hotel.
You can just walk to the Castle 10mins or cross the river via Charles Bridge which is again only 10mins walk and you are in the heart of Prague.
Will return to this hotel on my next stay in Prague.

We have had a 4-night stay from 22 to 26 October 2014. The hotel looks new, especially the interiors - the overall design is refreshingly unique. It is only about 10 minutes walk from the Red Line Metro. The room (#204) is clean and spacious enough; bed and pillows are comfortable. The daily breakfast is simple but it is of good quality and the food are fresh. Best of all, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I must mention this: I have received a surprised birthday gift - something not within my expectation and am really thankful for it. We will surely choose to stay in this hotel if we revisit Prague in the future.

We stayed at Hotel Maximilian after a Christmas Markets River Cruise. We took a bus from Nuremberg to Prague. We didn't have any Czech crowns and had concerns about using taxis so it was great when the hotel offered to send a car for us and put the fare on our hotel bill. We stayed for 4 nights and were upgraded to a room with a view onto a church and the rooftops of Prague.

We booked a 3 night break with 2 friends to celebrate our 50th birthdays. On arrival at the MOODS hotel we were greeted by Petra and Paul in reception who were friendly, helpful and happy to deal with all our needs.
Even though we were early, they organised our rooms so we could check in, freshen up and go exploring Prague for the day.
Our rooms were spacious (we were on turquoise floor 3) and clean with a view overlooking the street.

Easy walk into town, Room was excellent buffet breakfast was superb with live grand piano playing in background. The hotel supports the saving of elephants with the sale of hand carved wooden elephants at reception! Amazing touch!
Recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Prague.

Overall, an excellent hotel with great location to City center, transport, rail. Our room was also excellent, but a bit weird with its en-suit and toilet arrangement (as two separate cubicles, with loosely 'closing' doors, all glass and gaps and all), as well as its wash-basin, which was in the room itself. A bit far too modern for us and a bit impractical. But that was the only thing. All the rest, the room, the bed, TV, chairs, bar fridge, everything else was great. The breakfast was GREAT, plenty to choose from, warm and cold choices, and not with stale bread or cakes as in a near-by hotel Zlatá Váha, that we had the misfortune to stay in for a few nights. And it was a far more quieter and very spacious room, esp. if compared to our nightmare stay at Zlatá Váha hotel. Naturally, 987 was quite a bit more in price, but more than worth it, if only just to get a good night sleep. The great breakfast was just another bonus.
