We had a terrific experience at sunset plaza on our honeymoon. Everyone there was always ready to help and were all incredibly accommodating. Great service, great food and drinks. Nice quiet atmosphere, mostly adults. The room service is great too for all inclusive packages, can't wait to come back someday!

We stayed at the "PALACE" from Oct 18th-Oct25th. I cannot speak more highly of the PALACE and it's STAFF! They will do whatever it takes to please.. The rooms are great, CLEAN, comfy, quiet! The maids are wonderful and freindly. The Food was VERY GOOD, a bit redundant after 4-5 days, BUT You can always find something fresh and delicious. BREAKFAST was a 'highlight" The desserts at Dinner are TOP NOTCH in both taste and presentation. You want a drink, talk to OCTAVIO in the "sports bar". BRUNO and JULIO are there to please at Breakfast!

I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism shown at this hotel. Every one we met had a smile on their face and was very approachable and helpful. The property was immaculate and quite charming. They have obviously been keeping up with the updating and upgrading throughout the years. Special thanks to the servers who made the stay more special, Gume and Carlos. Be sure to find them. Had a massage with Arturo in the spa. A little bit of heaven.

The hotel is on the beach, and it is only a few minutes from the airport. The grounds are extremely well kept and the staff can not do enough to make the guest experience unforgettable. The food is outstanding and we look forward to a return trip. The marina is a short walk away. Walking in the area is safe.
When arriving at the airport, there are multiple sales people after you exit customs. They are all trying to get travelers to sign up for a time share presentation. My advice is just keep walking until you exit the airport or reach the transfer service.
The hotel offered a free city tour with bus transportation and a guide. It was very interesting and I recommend it.
I also went on an all terrain vehicle ride which I purchased through the hotel. I have done this before and have enjoyed the trip. This trip promised a visit to a tequila factory which turned out to be everyone sitting down and being offered a very small sip of tequila and an off to purchase. Tipping was a high priority with everyone tour connected ,however most riders did not tip.

My wife and I had a great experienc and have been guest's at the Westin for the last nine years. The location is great convienent to all locations. We did have two excellent meals in Vallarta, The first at the River Cafe which over looks the river in old town and the 2nd was a evening and meal to remember. Hacienda San Angel was owned at one time by Richard Burton and his wife Susan. It was truely a life time expience. Food,Service and the view were unbelievable. A must see in Valaarta in the Mexican Rivera. Back to the Westin, the staff is wonderful espeicullay Pedro the Head door man whom we have known for over nine years. My wife and I would recommend the Westin to anyone. Beware of the seasonal times. We cought the end of the rainy season. But Puerto Vallarta is the closes to Heaven on earth. Have a great stay!!!!!
