Very clean, bight, spacious hotel. Great rooms with kitchenette area. Close to everywhere - lots of places around to have a bite to eat and everywhere seems to stay open until 10pm or later! Maglev (Metro) from airport, you have to change at People's Park (line 2 from airport (PVG) to Peple's Park then onto line 1 - get off at Xiajiahui then walk to hotel, about 10 mins). Taxi to Shanghai Pudong airport (PVG) costs around 220RMB and takes around 45 mins.

"Top notch hotel for exec travel or family vacation"
This hotel is located conveniently in the center of town and close to the university we were visiting. It was easy to locate, and had full facilities, including a multi-national breakfast buffet. We chose a king suite room, but not on the executive floor. The rooms are large, comparable to any in the US, and were fully appointed. We had a couch, work desk, king size bed with two nightstands, plenty of storage for clothes, and a small fridge and mini-bar. The bathroom was very large, with built-in soaking tub, glass corner shower, western toilets and roomy sink and cabinet.
Air conditioning worked well and was relatively quiet. Room service was excellent - very impressed.

"Quality hotel, near restaurants, helpful concierge"
Our family of 4 stayed in Shanghai for a long weekend on a self-arranged tour of China. We felt like we paid a very reasonable price through Expedia for a suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, nice kitchen, eating area, etc. in Shanghai. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and professional. The concierge, porters, and desk staff all spoke proficient English. Although it's not near the Bund or other famous Shanghai sites, it was easy to get a taxi wherever we needed to go. If you turn right walking out of the hotel, you quickly come to many excellent restaurants, including at a busy shopping area at the next main intersection. We ate breakfasts in our room because the hotel breakfasts are expensive and there are many convenience stores and a couple of bakeries within walking distance. The only drawbacks were that it is not very near a subway station (about a 20 minute walk); and internet access is not free and not wi-fi: there is only 1 cord in the suite in one of the bedrooms.

Nearest subway station Dapuqiao about 600m walk away. Pleasant to do that in cooler climate, definitely not during summer time. DIfficult to get taxis in this location so you need to depend on the train.
Many eateries and restaurants around though. Big mall at the Dapuqiao train station offering shopping and lots of food so good location especially for holiday makers
