This was a vacation for my wife and I with another couple. They choose the resort and had stayed there before. At first the resort seemed almost to large but after a short time we found it to be easy to get around and the size allowed us to have many options.
The set up was beautiful. The staff was friendly, especially the activities and pool staff. Very outgoing and friendly.
The only couple negatives were that there was no wait staff around the pool area. You had to go to the bar to get your own drinks. At other resorts we have found that it is fun to get the know the wait staff during the stay and this was one way of doing it. We are good tippers so the vacation pampering would be increased shall we say. The second small issue was with the depth of the water getting to the swim up bar. Again no wait staff you have to get your own drinks and bring them back. The pool around the swim up bar is 5 feet deep. I can manage this at 6 feet tall and carry drinks, but my wife is 5'04" so you can imagine the struggles she had.
Those were the only to very small issues otherwise we loved our stay and could ask for much more from a resort or a vacation.

Dreams is the best!
All restaurants we went were fantastic (staff and food) and the beach was excellent! - So many fishes. You can see them even without snorkelling.
Swim with dolphins are just next to the hotel.

Great experience. Awesome staff. Beautiful hotel. Restaurants are ok. Large variety of restaurants which is great! Drinks could be better but the resort itself is impeccable. Lots to do, shows, beautiful pools, beaches. Hotel staff & Service is on point. I would def come back!!!

Hotel was nice, its a very large compound, area-wise. We initially were in the 9,000 series rooms, which include a jacuzzi, but these rooms are roughly a 7-8 minute walk from beach (a nice walk, but not ideal). Do what you have to get a room near the beach, it is well worth it. All restaurants and bars and night activities are near beach (save for 2 restaurants that are in main lobby near the 9,000 series rooms, but it is better to walk the 7-8 minutes to those restaurants at night then to walk the 7-8m from room to beach each day). Place was great outside of room proximity to beach, good food, very friendly staff, great entertainment (shows), huge open concept but very well contained within confines. Nice restaurants with good food. Beach was huge, water was clear. Very nice place. Doesn't have the intimate feel of a smaller all-inclusive, which was different for us, but we actually ended up liking that aspect (you may not meet/see the same people each day, which is not a bad thing). And the hotel is a $7 cab ride from the city's market which has both local and regional shopping, a good way to spend an afternoon. Hotel was very nice though, would not hesitate to give it a try.
