Hotel Flora is a classy and sophisticated hotel. Beautiful garden full of water fountains and large Camilia trees and a lawn for guests to sit out and enjoy. A very large and spacious lobby with an elevator to the rooms. Staff are very discreet and friendly. The air conditioned room was very light, airy with a large bed and modern furnishings with a generous terrace (with a table and chairs) giving a sensational view of the trees, hills and grand old villas in the distance. Sky TV was available with scores of channels in several languages. The marble bathroom was huge with all the usual furnishings of a grand hotel. The shower was a bit tricky but it was OK in the end.Breakfast was a feast, no complaints at all.The staff were very kind and friendly. Road noise was not a problem at all, the hotel was very quiet so sleep was not interrupted.
A wonderful, luxurious experience.

Nice hotel, well positioned and fantastic staff. I am a regular traveller and stay in many, many hotels world-wide. They are usually Hiltons, Marriott's, Westins etc., so you understand the quality of hotel I am used to. They really couldn't do enough for us at Rome Life and I thoroughly recommend this hotel for your Rome experience. The rooms were comfortable and spacious for a central based City hotel and the facilities were great. It is modern, so if you are expecting the old world experience forget it, however, for a good base this ticks all the boxes.

Friendly welcome. Arrived early though room wasn't ready. Shown round the facilities and shown to the pool bar.
Great room with a downstairs seating area and kitchen and bathroom/bedroom upstairs. Small spiral staircase would be difficult to negotiate if u were on the large side or had a large case to take up. Located opposite Rome zoo so good thirty minute walk too the main sites. Though tram stop outside the hotel. Good free breakfast with hot and cold products. Highly recommended. Only downside is location if u wish to go out to eat in the evening only a couple restraunts within a 15 min walk.

Lovely hotel, clean rooms, excellent staff. The rooftop garden is idyllic with views of the Colosseum which is in easy walking distance. Reception staff are very good with directions, organising tours and recommending excellent local restaurants. Ensure that you walk around the area, to see all the little streets and buildings. A visit to the park of Villa Celimontana is a must - so beautiful and peaceful.
I hope that we can return one day to the Hotel Capo d'Africa and this lovely area of Rome.
