We were a family of 4 and this was a great hotel for us. The room, the staff everything was perfect. The only thing negative is it is a little far off from the center of town, but easily accessible by public transportation.

Lovely hotel, very romantic setting...an absolute gem.Only 30 mins train ride from Rome, set on a hill..fantastic view.Hotel 's bus shuttle is great-organised drop off and pick up times-makes eating out very easy(did'nt eat lunch or dinner at hotel). You must go into Frascatti (3 mins on shuttle) - lovely place.Drinks at Hotel very reasonable. Swimming pool is great-probably helped by temperatures of 34-35 degrees whilst there! Breakfast very nice.Cost £163 b&b 3 nights - no brainer.Enjoy !!!

Our stay at Hotel Isa was fantastic, staff were brilliant and polite and made us feel very welcome. We found Isa to be in an ideal location - on the quiet side of the river, but not far enough off the beaten track that we couldn't easily find our way into town. Right down the road from a great pizza place and ice cream shop (definitely check out Gelati Gelati, the staff there are amazing as well) finding good quality food for a very fair price was extremely easy. Isa is also ideally situated for shopping on the main street, picking up a few items at the local supermarket, and for late night visits to St Peter's square.
Our superior room was marvelous, and while the decor was a little dated, was more than made up for by the space, storage space and balcony. The bed was huge and the bathroom was pretty sizable too.
Breakfast on the rooftop terrace gave us stunning views of the Basilica and the rest of Rome as we enjoyed the hearty and delicious food.
Only downside, if any, was that there was only one lift and it was very small - barely large enough for two people and two cases, that and the lack of room service, as we found out, you can only order drinks to your room, not full or even small meals, which was a disappointment. To solve this though I'd highly recommend 'San Marco' restaurant just around the corner from Isa, their arancini are to DIE for, and the food is very reasonably priced.
Thanks to all the Isa staff for a great stay, I'd definitely visit again.

Cannot complain about anything. This was the 2nd hotel we stayed at in Rome on this trip and the last on the entire holiday & was the better of the 2 in Rome. The rooms were so clean & cozy, even though small, & the reception staff very obliging. It gets even better at breakfast with such a good selection & great coffee. Would probably look for this hotel again if I returned to Rome as we also enjoy staying in historic areas & good selection of restaurants nearby. The hotel offered to help book a taxi back to the airport but that was not necessary as a further benefit was the Metro station was close enough for us to pull our suitcases to & pick up a train all the way to FCO Airport (changeover to the Leonardo Express at Termini).
