Hotel Flora is a classy and sophisticated hotel. Beautiful garden full of water fountains and large Camilia trees and a lawn for guests to sit out and enjoy. A very large and spacious lobby with an elevator to the rooms. Staff are very discreet and friendly. The air conditioned room was very light, airy with a large bed and modern furnishings with a generous terrace (with a table and chairs) giving a sensational view of the trees, hills and grand old villas in the distance. Sky TV was available with scores of channels in several languages. The marble bathroom was huge with all the usual furnishings of a grand hotel. The shower was a bit tricky but it was OK in the end.Breakfast was a feast, no complaints at all.The staff were very kind and friendly. Road noise was not a problem at all, the hotel was very quiet so sleep was not interrupted.
A wonderful, luxurious experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a weekend break in Rome with another couple. We cannot fault this hotel for anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to the time we left - nothing was too much trouble.
Rooms were clean and very nicely decorated and things like the inclusive mini bar meant we did not have to keep buying water and soft drinks when in the city as we could take them with us.
Breakfast was very good with nice little touches such as staff offering extra expresso's and samples of ricotta cheese to try.
The roof top terrace restaurant and bar offered great food and a relaxing space.

Great hotel, great location, great breakfast, American size rooms... Ray walk to Spanish steps, right next to villa borghese park, which is great for walking.
I recommend it highly.
This is my 5th stay at the hotel.

Low ratings at the FCO airport hotels caused me to stay away from the airport. This hotel is located in the same town as the airport but across the highway. Taxi ride from hotel to terminal is 10 minutes and 17 Euros. But taxis are not waiting so ask the front desk to call a taxi and allow 20-30min for it to arrive.
Lovely location in a fishing village. Views of fishing boats and channel out to the larger body of water. Included American breakfast was good and view from breakfast room was very good. Free wi-fi in room worked. Room a little small but modern. Nothing more most people would need in a modern bed and bathroom. Great price compared to airport hotels. Note: air conditioning will work well but ALL doors to balcony must be absolutely and firmly closed for it to work.

We were a family of 4 and this was a great hotel for us. The room, the staff everything was perfect. The only thing negative is it is a little far off from the center of town, but easily accessible by public transportation.

"Close to tram and bus routes needed for most sites"
Staff exceptionally helpful. Breakfast plentiful with a number of choices. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Some noise if near lifts first thing in the morning but as most guests up and out to see the sites then acceptable. Staff very knowledgeable about which public transport mode to use to get to all visitor attractions. Bus and tram routes outside the hotel direct to Vatican and Colosseum. Supermarket opposite to buy fruit, drinks etc

Our 3-night stay was perfect! From the moment we were picked up in the reserved taxi we found the hotel was ready to make sure our stay was the best it could be as we were offered cold, bottled water during the ride into the Prati Neighborhood. Our suite was quiet with a comfortable bed, great morning breakfasts and an attentive staff that spoke English. In addition to a spacious lobby there is a lovely rooftop terrace. The neighborhood was a good 10 minute walk to the Vatican, with shopping & restaurants nearby and a quick bus hop to the metro or just 2 blocks from the Tiber River! A day after check-out we realized we left our car keys in our room safe and the concierge quickly responded to our e-mail and is forwarding them to us! I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again!
